Chapter 10

Hadrian woke up excited, he got to go back to Hogwarts today. He got up early and got dressed and ready to leave. He made sure he had everything he needed before heading downstairs for breakfast. He ate fast as he was excited to go back to Hogwarts. Once him and his parents had finished eating, they apparated to Kings Cross. Hadrian bid his mother farewell and went to find Draco or an empty compartment. He found Draco in a compartment along with Pansy and Blaise. He knocked on the compartment door and Draco's eyes widened when he saw Hadrian.

"Who is that?" Pansy asked.

"Hadrian." Draco answered.

Draco got up and opened the compartment door and let Hadrian in.
Hadrian hugged Draco as soon as the door opened.

"I missed you so much Draco!"

"I missed you to Hadrian, now come in."

Hadrian walked into the compartment with Draco, while Pansy and Blaise were still very confused.

"Draco, who is Hadrian and how do you know him?" Pansy asked.

"Oh, yeah about that." Draco began. "Hadrian is my mate. We are both magical creatures. He is Severus and the Dark Lord's son."

"I thought their son had been missing." Pansy said.

"He has been missing. They just found him over the summer." Draco said.

"Oh." Pansy replied dumbly.

Pansy than began to question Hadrian.

"How did your parents just found this summer, where were you this whole time?" Pansy asked.

Draco went to tell Pansy it was none of her business but Hadrian stopped him.

"I was taken at a young age and given to a light family." Hadrian stared. "I lived my life as someone else, until this summer when I went through my creature inheritance. I received a letter from Gringotts and took an inheritance test. It turns out that my parents were Severus and The a Dark Lord, not who I believed them to be."

"So who did you think your parents were?" Pansy asked.

"I was raised believing my parents were dead. Hadrian stated. "I was told that my parents were Lily and James Potter."

Pansy gasped after hearing this. Blaise gasped as well. They couldn't believe that Harry Potter was really Hadrian Riddle. After the initial shock had worn off. Pansy, Blaise, Draco, and Hadrian talked about their summers for most of the train ride. About half way through the train ride Hadrian had fallen asleep and laid his head on Draco's shoulder.

Once the long train ride was almost over, Draco shook Hadrian awake. Everyone changed into their Hogwarts uniforms, and began talking again once Pansy came back to the compartment. The train soon came to a stop and the group of four left the train. They all climbed into one carriage and talked during the ride to the castle. Once they reached the castle, Hadrian went over with the first years to be sorted.

"Before we begin the sorting, we have a new student joining us this year. He is a fifth year." Dumbledore stated.

After that the sorting began. Around 30 minutes later the first years were don't being sorted. It was finally Hadrian's turn. Hadrian began to walk towards the hat when suddenly someone asked him to stop.

"Ahem, stay right there." Someone said.

Hadrian looked up to see a toad like lady dressed in a lot of pink glaring down at him. He stepped back in hopes to not upset the lady even further.

"Ah yes," Dumbledore began, "This is Professor Delores Umbridge, your new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor."

"I have been sent here by the ministry to keep an eye on your school. It has come to my attention that you are sorted only in first year. Your personality changes when you get older. Because of this all fifth years will experience a resort."

All the fifth years gasped in outrage. People immediately began to protest until Dumbledore yelled for them to be quiet. Professor McGonagall began to read off the names of the students to be resorted.
Hadrian wasn't paying until Neville was being resorted. Neville was one of his only true friends from when he was Harry Potter. However something strange happened. The hat called out, "He can fit into any house." Suddenly a table appeared in the Great Hall. There was a fifth table, for the new fifth house. Everyone was silent in shock, and Neville went and sat at the new fifth table. The sorting continued. To everyone's surprise, more people were sorted into that fifth house. Luna, Pansy, Blaise, Draco, Fred, and George were all sorted into the fifth house. Eventually, it was Hadrians turn. Hadrian was sorted last as he was not a part of the resort. The hall was silent when McGonagall called out the last name.

"Hadrian Snape."

The hall went silent in shock. People could not believe that Snape had a child. They were also wondering where he had been the past five years. Hadrian walked up to the stool and sat down, the hat was then placed on his head.

"So you are back, in your correct body this time." The hat said to Hadrian in his mind.

"How do you know that?" Hadrian asked the hat also in his mind.

"I can tell, your blocks are gone. You could be in any house as you are the heirs." The hat began. "Or you could join the fifth house made for people like you, who can fit in any house."

"I want to join the fifth house."

The hat announced that he would be joining the fifth house and Hadrian went to join his friends. The feast began and everyone began to eat. After the feast, everyone in the fifth house went to the new dormitory that had Hogwarts had created for them. It was the same as the other dormitories, except it had elements of all the other houses dormitories and was nicer. There was a common room, a girls dorm and a boys dorm. Everyone headed to bed early to get ready for the long day of classes ahead of them.

A/N: this is unedited as I wanted to get this chapter up ASAP. I'm sorry for the long wait, a lot had been going on due to corona and all that. Also I didn't know what to name the fifth house so please give me some suggestions and point out mistakes.
