The sun was setting once more, and it's rays blanketed the atmosphere in a beautiful orange colour. The air was warm and the sand of the beach was soft and fluffy against Raven's bare feet as she watched the peaceful waves.

"Robin!"
Star shrieked from the ocean as her boyfriend threw her over his shoulder, splashing as they did so.

Cyborg sat in the car on his phone, as he didn't want to overheat outside. Raven felt bad at first, but she noticed he was actually calling somebody, so he wasn't alone.

But her eyes couldn't help but trailing back to the green dolphin that leapt around in the distant waves, clicking eveytime he rose over the water.

The more she thought about him, the more she thought about how she looked, and what she was wearing. Her hair was in it's typical bob, so there was nothing to be done about that, and she wore a regular bikini.

Why did she feel so self-conscious all of a sudden?

And why when she thought of him?

Almost as though her thoughts were being spoken out loud, the dolphin changed into a bird, who swooped over to where Raven was standing.

Raven's face flushed when the bird changed into a boy, who pecked her cheek with a smile.

"Hey, back off."
She grumbled, looking around to their friends. Of course, none of them were watching. Beastboy shrugged and took her hand.

"Nah."
He said, running back to the shore and dragging Raven along with him. She frowned, but held his hand. She could never stay mad at him for too long.

When they got to the water, Raven stopped dead in her tracks. It was ice cold, and wearing nothing but a bikini, she shivered.

Beastboy smirked and wrapped his arms around her waist in an attempt to warm her up.

"Garfield, I know what you're doing."
Raven said, smirking ever so slightly. Beastboy leaned in to kiss her but she put a finger to his lips.

"Not yet!"
She teased, and splashed her way over to Starfire. Robin gave Beastboy a thumbs up from the distance, but the green boy just shook his head and laughed.

"Maybe I shouldn't have fallen in love with somebody as cool as me."
He whispered to himself, watching as Raven laughed with Star. But now that Star was gravitating back to Robin, Raven was left on her own.

It wasn't long before a green stingray swept her up and swam with her around the shore, making her smile. Eventually beastboy swam to the sand and lay there, still holding Raven on top of him.

He quickly morphed back to his human self, so that she was on top of him, face to face.

Raven rolled off of him, but remained by his side. Her fingertips were feeling prickly and she felt a strange fluttery feeling deep inside her stomach.

Beastboy felt himself heat up as Raven shifted closer to him, his skin tingling and his head literally about to explode with the amount of internal screaming going on.

Robin and Starfire watched from the waves, but they soon stopped. They knew they would tell them if they were ready.

"Can you kiss me now?"
Beastboy asked quietly, his eyes trailing to Raven's lips. She opened her mouth to reply, but Beastboy cut in.

"And you can't say not yet."
He whispered, as their faces got closer and closer. Raven smirked.

"I was going to say okay..."
She said, trailing off. Then their lips met once more. It was soft, and something so surreal for both of them, even though they had done it once before. Only this time, they were sober.

Beastboy put his hand on her waist and Raven put her hand on his cheek as their kiss lasted forever, filling them both with a warmth that they never knew they needed.

Robin and Starfire watched in mock-horror, clamping their hands over their mouths to try and suppress their laughter. Cyborg hooted from the car, making the pair jump up and scoot away from each other.

"Seriously Cy?!"
Beastboy shouted, before turning and smiling at Raven.

The half-demon opened her mouth to speak, but instead her eyes caught something in the distance, behind their car.

"We were alone here, right?"
She said, making Beastboy's smile fade. The others nodded.

Raven stood up all of a sudden and held up two middle fingers in the direction of the car. Everybody's eyes followed her obscene gesture and found themselves staring at a boy with messy brown hair and bright green eyes.

"That fucker!"
Raven exclaimed, running for him. The boy got on his bike and cycled away, laughing loud enough for all of them to hear.

They all knew who it was.

"Is that the little bastard who lives three doors down?"
Beastboy asked, standing up and joining Raven by her side. She nodded.

Robin and Starfire caught up to them, and Cyborg shook his head.

"What a creep."
He grumbled. It wasn't uncommon for their neighbour to take pictures of Raven when she was in the garden, or even inside the house.

They had tried to report him, but his dad was head of police in the neighbourhood. Beastboy hopped into the car with a slight frown on his face.

The others followed suit.

Beastboy spoke, making Raven blush. She hid it with a gentle face scratch.

"I'll talk to him this time."

I know it's so boring, sorry, I'm really trying to make this book interesting :(
