(By the way, the songs above are ones I listen to while writing, so it might be cool to listen while reading to get the full feel)

Beastboy and Raven lay on Raven's bedroom floor, their heads next to each other, bodies flat on the carpet. They stared at the ceiling in what seemed like silence, but what was actually full of buzzing thoughts and whirring imagination.

Beastboy thought of Raven, and how lucky he got when she liked him back. He thought of Mike, and what a prick he was. He thought of how much nightmares came back when he was sober.

Raven thought of Beastboy, and how long it took for her to give in. She thought of all those years and what they meant. She thought of how lucky she was that Beastboy agreed with her decision on the pregnancy.

Beastboy turned his head so that he was looking right at Raven's face, and she did the same, both of their lips now barely apart. Raven stared at his lips but remained how she was, a smile inching up her cheeks.

"What ya smiling at mama?"
Beastboy asked, his fresh and minty breath touching her lips.

"I'm just glad that I let my guard down."
She replied, her warm cinnamon breath meeting Beastboy's.

Soon their lips met, and they kissed for what felt like hours, but was actually only seconds.

Raven smiled and rested her head on Beastboy's chest, listening to his heart as it beat in a rhythmic pattern.

"When are we gonna tell them?"
Beastboy asked. Raven felt herself tense. If it was up to her, she would never tell. But, of course, it wasn't her news alone.

"I'm not sure."

They remained silent for a bit more, until Beastboy cleared his throat.

"If we're going to the clinic in two days, I think we should tell them before that."
He said. Raven let out a sigh. She wanted to just let this go, to let this part of her week be another regular part of her week. She wanted to just forget about everything for now and think about it later.

Beastboy wanted to tell the others as soon as he could. He wanted this to pass by as much as Raven did, but he needed to say something before it was bottled inside of him for too long. He also didn't want them to feel as though they weren't trusted.

Raven sat up and shrugged.

"Let's tell them now."
She said, turning to her boyfriend who was still flat on the floor.

He sat up and raised his eyebrows, taken back by her sudden eagerness. Raven felt sick thinking about all the attention that was going to be on her when they told. But she knew it was better to get it all over with.

They both stood up and went for the stairs. Beastboy took Raven's hand as they entered the living room where the rest of their friends were talking. Star was sitting next to Cyborg on the couch and Robin was laying on the floor, his feet up on her lap.

"We have to tell you all something."
Beastboy said, his voice becoming unexpectedly dry. Robin's face was upside down from where he lay, but his confused expression was obvious.

Raven nodded, and took a deep breath, trying to slow down how fast the world was spinning around her. Cyborg frowned slightly, as did Star.

"I uh... no Raven... No we..."
Beastboy's attempts to spit it out were failing miserably.

"I'm pregnant. But in two days I won't be anymore."
Raven said, shocking everyone including herself. The three on the couch looked at each other in surprise before giving a reassuring nod.

Beastboy found himself with Robin's finger stuck up towards his face.

"Maybe you should be more responsible!"
He said, waving his arm around, although since he was on the floor his hand only made it to the height of Beastboy's thigh.

Raven sat down next to Starfire and rested her head on her shoulder, taking as much deep breaths that were possible. Beastboy argued with Robin on the floor while Cyborg clicked play on the TV.

It felt familiar.

All of them in one room, watching television together, somebody fighting. There was new news that hung in the air, yes, but everybody knew that it was best to not talk about it at the minute.

So they didn't.

But unfortunately for Raven, the day just kept coming sooner and sooner.
