As (y/n) grew older, she began to forget Quezler and started to believe Wrex was her birth father. Of course she always asked who her mother was, but everyone would respond that all the dear ladies in the town was her mother. Which, at this age, (y/n) did not question and would hug the person she asked.
When (y/n) was 10, she met a boy. He had brown hair that went to his chin and brown eyes. He was skinny for his age and wore proper clothing, which she thought was pretty stupid to be wearing at the park. He would get all dirty! Not wanting to talk to a stupid boy, she continue to work on her sand castle.
The young boy walked to the young girl and castes a shadow on her sand castle, (y/n) looked up to him.
"Are you perhaps (y/n)?" The boy asked quietly with no smile.
"Yessim." (Y/n) nodded than looked back to her sand castle.
"My name is Kaname. Can I play with you?" He sat on the opposite side of the sand castle.
(Y/n) just nodded, not minding the extra help. " Ya knows your gonna get dirty. Your mama wont be very happy bout that's." (y/n) said matter of fact childish voice.
" I got no mama." Kaname said like it didn't bother him.
"Don't say that in front of the ladies here. They'll all declare you their mama." (Y/n) smiled up to him, and Kaname saw.
He smiled back which made (y/n) smile more. The two children played in the sand till the sun started to set and the stars began to shine.
"Its getting late... I gotta go home Kaname. Can we play tomorrow?" (y/n) stood wiping the sand off herself.
"I'd like that." Kaname did the same except more proper and not just smacking himself.
"Pinky promise?" (Y/n) held out her tiny hand for him to promise on it.
"Pinky promise." And Kaname wrapped his pinky around hers.
(Y/n) smiled bright and than ran off, " See ya tomorrow Kaname!!!"
Kaname smiled and watched her run, before disappearing into the shadows.
The next day, (y/n) sat in the sand from dawn to dusk. Alone.
The day after that, (Y/n) sat in the wet sand from dawn to dusk.
And the day after that and the day after that, from dawn to dusk, alone.
