*Eason POV*
The alarm goes off, signaling that breakfast is soon. I end up turning to shut it off and accidentally roll off the bed, landing with a thud. There was laughing above me, and my eyes opened to find Christen standing above me. I flash her my smile as she smiles down at me. She reaches over me to turn the alarm off as the door to Becky and Alyssa's room opens.
"Is everything-" Becky cuts herself off as I started to laugh. "I fell off the bed trying to turn the stinking alarm off". Becky just laughs and shakes her head and walks back into her own room. Christen holds her hands out. I grab them and she pulls me up off of the ground. We go and throw clothes on for breakfast. I wake up Kamdin and get her dressed. Christen grabbed our phones and the room keys. I turn around and give her a questioning look.
"What's that look for?" "Do you have a sweatshirt I can steal?" she smiles and then turns around. I set Kamdin down as she hands her Stanford hoodie to me. After sliding it over my head, picking my child up. We make our way down to breakfast. Kamdin buries her head into my neck. Christen slides my phone into the pocket of her hoodie that I'm wearing.
Christen goes to get her plate of food. When she sits down at the team table, she takes Kamdin from me so I can go and get both of our plates. I bring them back and see that Christen and Kamdin are in a conversation. I set both of our plates down and then run to get us drinks. Kamdin moves onto my lap as I cut up the pancakes that I got her and poured syrup on them. Everyone else comes in and gets food. Hope sits down next to me. I turn my head and smile at her with a mouth full of food, the food showing through my teeth. She shakes her head and chuckles under her breath.
"You're a child" she says, and I laugh and nod. "Just like Kelley?" I ask after I swallowed, and she slightly nods.
"Hey" Kelley calls sounding offended.
"It's true" Christen laughs. As I finish, Kamdin climbs out of my lap and back into Christen's. Christen grabs my cup and takes a drink out of it, and I pretend to be offended and then start laughing after. I piled up all three of our paper plates and plastic silverware. I got up and threw them away, everyone was sitting and talking when Jill made an announcement.
"We are having a meeting in the same room we did yesterday in an hour" She calls out and we nod. Hope taps me on the arm "Have you talked to Meghan recently" she asks me.
"No, why?" "Just wondering" "Okay" I hesitantly reply.
We all sit around for a while until we had to go to the meeting. I took Kamdin off of Christen's lap and started walking with the team to the room. We sit down in the chairs that are there and I pulled out my phone. I turned the volume all the way down and gave it to Kamdin to play on during the meeting.
"Here you go Kam" I say as I give it to her, and she looks up and gives me a big smile. She played games until the meeting was over.
"Ladies, go and get your training clothes in the back of the room and change, you have an hour to get ready. The bus will be here in fifty minutes." We all walk to the back and grab our training clothes for the day. I grab mine and walk back over to Kam.
She stands up and grabs my hand and we walk with Christen back up to our room. We put all of the training gear that we wouldn't use today on the dresser and put on the blue tank with matching soccer shorts. I grabbed both of our bags as she picked up Kamdin. We walk to the elevator, meeting up with the team.
We all climb on the bus. I sit next to Chris with Kam in her lap as everybody else sits with their normal partners. When we got there, I gave Kam my phone and the rest of us practiced. We did the beep test and I won by three over Kelley. We did weights and more fitness before scrimmaging.
I got playing time in as all positions and scored three of our nine goals. My team won and we did our cool down stretches. After taking our cleats off, we got back onto the bus, with the same people we were sitting with before, my daughter still on my phone, back to the hotel to shower and rest before we all go out to supper. Christen, Kamdin, and I arrived back to our room and my eyes meet Christens.
"You can go first if you want to Chris" she nods and sets Kamdin on the bed before grabbing clothes and walking into the bathroom. She came out a few minutes later and I went to my suitcase and grabbed clothes and switched places with her. When I got out and walked back over to where the beds are, I grabbed Christen's Stanford hoodie off of the dresser where I left it and slipped it on. I climbed onto the bed next to her, where my child was on her lap. Laying my head on her shoulder, she ran her fingers through my hair, and I wrapped one of my arms around her waist. We stayed like that for a while until there was a knock on the door. Opening the door to our room, I let out a yawn as my eyes meet Alex and Tobin's. I yawn and step to the side, allowing them to enter.
"Bonding tonight is going to be in here" "Thanks Tobin" "Easton's yawning again" "State the obvious Alex" I say and then lay on the bed by Chris.
"Wake me up when everybody is here" I cuddle as far into Christen's side as I possibly can.
"Easton, everybody is here" I open and rub my eyes before sitting up and seeing that Kamdin was asleep on Christen as well. After team bonding, we got ready for bed and Christen whispers in my ear
"You can wear my sweatshirt whenever you want love" she kisses my cheek before the three of us get in the same bed and fall asleep.
