Jeongyeon

Now I'm pretty sure I was done. I tried but things always go wrong don't they. It's not my problem I don't feel like accepting your hand shake. Ah. Fuck this.

I knew Nayeon was behind me. I could hear her feet. "Nayeon go"

"I'm sorry about her. She just says things without thinking as you can see"

"I know what everyone thinks Nayeon. You probably think the same. That I'm some weirdo who doesn't talk to anyone because her parents died years ago but she can't control that. She has to live in a tiny shed. She has to find some way to get food. She has to try and pass school. To try and be normal!"

Nayeon

Tears were coming out of her eyes. She was shaking. I was just in the midst of her problems. God this girl was confused.

She started running. I stayed following her. Why does she think people think that. I never thought about that stuff.

We ended up at the lake again. "Jeongyeon"

"Admit it! Your just being friendly to me because I act like this"

"No"

"Kim mentioned you today. He told you about me. To be my friend. So if he said nothing then you wouldn't be here. Right?" Stupid Kim.

"Jeong—"

"RIGHT!?" I felt my heart ache. I felt bad for this. She's right.

I walked up to her. "Your right. But"

"But what!?" She was shaking worse. I felt myself start to cry.

"I want to be friends."

"Everything I've ever had I've lost. I can't ever commit to anything again. I refuse."

I grabbed her hand. "I refuse to give up on you."

"Stop Nayeon"

"No. Even if it was just a little bit of time I spent with you I saw how nice and cool you are. I like you"

She fell to her knees. She was so broken. Holding everything in. Poor girl.

"You have me now. Your not alone anymore"

She kissed me.

I could feel the tears from her cheeks and her shaky and hand was still holding mine. She put everything she had into the kiss.

She pulled away "I'm sorry...I should go"

"No. It's ok." I pulled her in and just held her close until her breathing became normal.

"Let's swim"

Jeongyeon

"Stop it!" She splashed the water back in my face.

I was actually having fun. I was able to calm down more with the water around me. I hated having breakdowns.

I don't know why I felt the need to kiss her earlier but It just kinda struck me. Something about her just made me feel different all of a sudden.

"Hello Yoo??"

She grabbed me and pulled me under. I shoved her away and splashed more water in her face. She had the biggest smile on and was laughing like crazy.
"Nayeon your making me feel crazy!"

"That's a good thing!" I swam back to the rocks and waited until she was laying right next to me looking up at the clouds.

"Jeongyeon"

I turned my head. She smiled and moved closer in so her head was laying on my chest. "This is are place now"

"I can accept that"

"Good because I like it here but it's not the same without you."
