Nirvana Preferences

#1 How You Meet

Kurt
I sit nervously backstage in a seat waiting for my band's name to be called up, when a blonde long-haired man walks up to me, "Hey my name's Kurt, are you performing?"  I nod,"Yeah, my name's (Y/n)."  He smiles as he tries to put his stubborn hair behind his ears, "My band is playing too, we're called Nirvana, what's yours?"  Damn that's a cool name! "(Y/b/n)."  I hear the host thanking the artist who just finished their set and my band is called to the stage. "See you after?" Kurt asks me before I ran onto the stage. I turned back to him, "Yeah, sure."  I walk up to the mic with my electric guitar and we start playing. Once I successfully finished my set and hug my band mates, I head to my backstage spot to see Kurt waiting for me. He notices me walking over, "You're really good out there!"  He exclaims, smiling widely. I look down, smiling, "Thank you."  After that night, sometimes we'll sing duets on stage together. Especially Beatles songs, they seem to be his favourites.

Dave
It is snack time and I am sitting alone underneath a tree playing with my toys that you brought. It is my first day of Elementary school and I am too shy to make any friends so I play alone.  After a little while, I hear a set of footsteps grow close, I look up to see a boy from my class smiling down at me. "Are you playing by yourself?"  I don't speak much so I nod instead. "Do you want to draw with me?" He asks, stepping a little closer. I think for a bit while looking at my toys, I look back up at him and nod. He helps me up and we walk over to the bench where all of his things are. I sit down on opposite side from him and we start drawing. I can feel him looking at me, so I slowly look up as well, "What's your name?"  I remain silent for a bit then I encourage myself to talk, "(Y/n), w-what's yours?" He smiles widely as soon as the words left my mouth, "My name is Dave and it's nice knowing you can talk!"  We giggled. The bell sounded, signally that it was the end of recess, we both packed up everything. "H-hey Dave, do you w-wanna be fr-friends?" He stopped and looked up with a surprised look on his face, "Yeah!" From then on we would meet at that exact spot and draw and talk together everyday.

Krist
It was the first day of year 10, the first day at a new school, the first day at a new school in a new state. I am so anxious, I hate starting at new schools, this is my third time. I walk down the noisy and busy halls with my headphones on and my hands stuffed in the pockets of my over sized hoodie. The hood of my hoodie blocks my view ahead, so I keep my head down. Maybe I should've kept my hood up, because I was almost at my locker when I collided with someone which caused me to fall into them. "Oh my God, I'm sorry!"  The person said holding on to me. I pulled my hoodie off my head and took my headphones down so that they were hanging around my neck and look up. Wow he's tall! "It's okie, I should've payed attention to where I was going."  I reply, my face going a little red. "Uhh, what's your name?"  He asks me as I move off him and try to remain stable on my feet. "I'm (Y/n), what's yours?" "I'm Krist, are you new here?"  I laugh, "How could you tell?" He smiles sweetly, "Well I mean, If you were already attending this school, it wouldn't be hard to miss your pretty face."  We both giggle and blush graces my cheeks. "Here, let me show you around."  He offers, in which I accept and he takes me on a tour of the school.

Heyo! I hope you enjoyed this first preference! Nirvana is one of my favourite bands and I love them so much, so I wanted to start a preferences book of them. Also lil Dave's was adorable to write. I hope you guys have an awesome rest of your day, byee!!!
