Chapter 1

"Pierce," Headmaster Crumpet said, ruffling his hair, "you are the 'bodyguard' of Waverly Marie Fishwater." That nailed it. He sulked back to his room. I groaned, because of two reasons. He's never gonna help me pass my levitation, neither is he gonna participate in headmaster Crumpet's orders. "Miri..." He said, and in an instant i was in his room. It's awesome being part vampire. He was slumped on the sofa. "Marianne Lillian!" Damn my mom. "Yeah?" I shriek from Pierce's room. No, we aren't a THING *cough cough*. He has to help me pass Levitation. Trust me. It's harder than you think it is. "Help Pierce pack for West Marin High!" West Marin High. That school. The Multi-Monster school. I cringed inwardly. Should I show my flaws? My roots?
But anyways we packed everything (including my stuff) and left for West Marin High like darting shadows. I brought everything to the common room, and left Pierce to himself. I pulled on my cloak. It was fashionable. It was lightweight and snazzy and chic. It covered my ears and wings and tail. It dragged a little. It's ocean blue gently fading to black that is at the bottom. It even has a fire emblem on the bottom part, and is super cool. I wear fashionable high cut boots (wedge) that doesn't restrict movement. I wear tights, and a skirt shirt. My hair is honey bronze color, and glistens. It's tips are blue (no idea why) and I have a blue streak and a red streak. They are glow in the dark. I am a part Griffin (lion with eagle wings and head and feet) and vampire and phoenix and one part mermaid. That's why I can breathe underwater. But no tail. My dad's the Griffin and part mermaid (merman for his case) and my mom's the vampire and phoenix. Pierce is my cousin and Headmaster Crumpet's my uncle (sort of). I live in the campus now. Like one cabin for myself. It's quite spacious. I can hang upside down without my clothes flipping over and showing my body. Ewwww... That's ghastly. Erase that thought!
"Lilly?" Pierce asks. Oh i have to go now.
