In the beginning, there were only two. Guldran and Dormir battled against each other for a thousand years. Until one fateful day, Guldran finally slew Dormir and with his body created the material world. But Dormir still dreams and through his dreams endeavours to destroy all of his rival's creations.
In an effort to contain Dormir's dreams Guldran created twelve old ones. Those old ones were Khandi Endeth The Soul Runner, Xai Ulb The Distant Demon, Grelle The Water Lizaed, Never The Blood Fox, Vilosh The Serpent's Heir, Aiza Anga The Stormy Eye, Tozt Dron The Molten Core, Yarbrough The Spirit Charmer, Acteldosh The Crippled Soul, Xibu The Metallic Snail, Cnuiggast The Frozen Flame, Shaaro The Forgotten Legacy, and Cthulhu The Unseen Ancestor
However, over time the Old ones were corrupted and made to serve Dormir and his vision. And so one by one the last great nations of mankind fell until nothing but a small colony of outlanders were left. Now the colony Marlan Saltath must survive with minimum ammunition and rapidly dwindling rations things are not looking good.
Species
Elves: Dead and nobody misses them.
Hobbits: Generally cheery folk who like to set up little communities all over the world, but when push comes to shove their right vicious little buggers.
Humans: nothing new here.
Great Old Ones: You don't wanna know.
Demons: creations of Dormir they come in many shapes and sizes
