Where Two Roads Meet

Leaving

I sighed as I woke up. Today was the day I left to go back to Canada. I sighed and got out of bed. I took a shower and did my hair in a fishtail braid. I then got out my outfit. I decided on wearing a pair of tribal print mint green and black leggings. I ran over to Hayes's room. I got out one of his football hoodies. It had the number 14 on it. I then did my makeup. I put on some concealer and powder. I then did my eyeliner and mascara. I then grabbed my royal blue Toms. I then got a dark blue and white poka dotted headband. I then walked out and saw the guys sitting and eating at the table. Cameron had made pancakes. I was not in the mood to eat so I passed on breakfast. I sat down by Hayes. He grabbed my hand gently.
"Good morning beautiful. How are you?" Hayes asked. I shrugged, I didn't want to go back. A single tear fell down my cheek before I could stop it. I heard a fork drop. Hayes quickly wiped it off my cheek and hugged me. He kissed my cheek.
"Everything will be okay. I promise." He whispered in my ear before eating again. "You want anything to eat?" He asked.
"I'm not really hungry. Thanks though." I said to him. He looked at me strange. He quickly shrugged it off.
About ten minutes later Shawn got up. He got all the bags and carried them to the car. I quickly walked outside and sat in the back with Hayes. Cameron got in the drivers seat and Nash sat in the passengers seat. He looked back at Hayes and I.
"Where did you get Hayes's football hoodie? Nash asked.
"His closet." I said as he turned around. Hayes smiled at my comment.
"Keep it. It lets guys know you are taken." He said into my ear. I blushed at him. He then kissed my cheek.
When we got to the airport we only had 5 minutes to say goodbye. I went to Nash and hugged him. I hugged Cameron too. The Matt, then Taylor, then Jacob, then Brent. I lastly hugged Hayes. He hugged me as tight as he could. He rubbed my back gently while I cried into his shoulder.
"I love you." he said and then kissed my cheek. I smiled at him and broke apart. Shawn then came over.
"We have to go now" he said. I sighed and walked towards the gate. When I got in I turned around to see Hayes staring at me. I quickly ran out past the guards that were coming towards me. I jumped onto Hayes and hugged him. We stood like that for a minute. He let go and kissed me. Then I was pulled back towards the gate. Shawn was waiting for me patiently. I wiped a tear from my eye.
When we got on the plane I rested my head against the window. I watched as the clouds past underneath us. I put on my blue Beats. I fell asleep thinking about when I would get to see Hayes again.
