Girls Day

I had woken up that morning feeling relieved that I had finally made it. Since, I was about 13 years old I had wanted to move to California all my life and pursue my dream as a musician. My best friend, Julie had always wanted to travel and since we have been best friends since we were 8, she wanted to come a long for the ride. We had just moved here two days ago and it already felt like i was living here for forever. The condo we had was absolutley perfect and I had been looking at for a year. I was so shocked to see that it was still up for sale. When, I saw it I had never called someone so fast in my life.

"Hi, Los Angeles Residents, how may I help you?"

"Yes! Hi, my name is Lauren and I wanted to know if I could by the Condo that is on 5th Avenue on the corner?"

"oh! yes! That has been up for sale for a couple months now, it just got done being rebuitlt! Would you like to come to our company and discuss and pay for everything this week?"

"Yes! I would love too! Could i come at 1pm?"

"Sure! What is your name so i can hold the appointment?"

"Lauren!" I say excitedly.

"Okay, Lauren! We will see you on Thursday!"

Then that was it! The next day Julie and I had moved our stuff in and now we are settled in. After all that strees we had gone through for the past couple days or week just looking for the house, we decided to have a girls day and go to the Grove to shop.

I walk out of my room to go downstairs and see Julie making food,

"French Toast?" She asked with a smile.

"Awh! Whats this for?" I said as I sat down at the island.

"A congratulations for buying this house and finally being in Cali!" She said as passing the food to me and sitting down!"

"Thanks boo! Love you!" I screamed as I hugged her. "Lets eat and get ready and then we can go." I said while stufing my face. 

"Okay!" She giggled.

After we had ate we started to get ready. I started with my hair and straightened it as usual. Makeup was always a hassle cause I always had so much to do. I did my whole face routine (foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, blush and a highlight) Eyes were always my favorite. Always used the naked three pallette and winged eyeliner. Julies makeup was pretty simple too. Basically the same routine except less face makeup and a lot more eyeliner. We had gotten dressed wearing high wasted shorts a crop top and vans and we headed out.

"Get in loser, were going shopping!" I said while laughing. (mean girls reference if you didnt understand, lol) We started driving to the Grove, jammin to our favorite songs. It felt so great to know that we were finally in Cali.

We got out and started to basically max out our credit cards. We had went to all our favorite stores and the last stop was pacsun. We had walked in and I swear my eyes became hearts. I started grabbing literally everything and by the time I was done I had had a full pile.

"Idk whether I like this or not. I mean i could dress it up with a skirt or dress it down with some high wasted shorts, i just dont know." I was trying to Julies opinion when she hurried up and shushed me.

"WHAT?" I said with a nasty tone.

"That kid over there is staring at you." She turned my head around and I saw a tall skinny kid with dark brown hair and skinny jeans and vans on.

He had quickly turned his head down when i looked but I didnt really acknowledge him. I went to the dressing room and tried everything on. I came out with the things I liked and paid for it.

As I was walking out, I couldnt find Julie and I was freaking out. She wouldnt answer my texts or calls so i said fuck her. Not my fault. I drove home and went through the garage. As I opened the door, I saw Julie on the couch with some dude.

"Julie? Can I talk to you? Alone!?" I said with a calm tone.

"okay?" She got up and I walked into the other room and shut the door.

"Dude, what the fuck? Where did you go? You left and didnt even tell me? Now, you brought some random ass dude here? What the fuck?" I was whispering so that the guy couldnt hear.

"Im sorry, my phone died and everything and right when I was about to call you, you were alreay here. Also, his name is Jc. He was with that one kid that was staring at you at pacsun. He is here but he is in the bathroom."

"okay, lets just go back out there cause i really dont want to fight" I said while opening up the door.

We went back out and kian was on the other couch. He stood up:

"Hi! My name is Kian, Kian Lawley. He chuckled, "sorry to barge in your house like this but julie said we were welcome to come in so I just went along with it."

"Its okay! I laughed, "Im cool with it! Do you guys wanna watch a movie?"

We all agreed and started watching The Cable Guy. One of the best movies of all time. By that time, I had fallen asleep on Kian and this was the start of many movie nights and hang outs.
