Tick Tock

I was back in the darkness, until something blurry came. Getting closer, my vision became clear. It was a lady, sitting on a dock. She wore a blue and grey dress, in her hands were  two different pebbles. The one on the right was white, but tiny bits of aqua glimmered. In the other had was a black stone along with blue purple and red sand on it. Walking closer to her near the lake, I realized who she was. Me,  I was looking at myself. Looking at me, she began to toss the pebbles in her hand, catching them before they could land into the Lake. She began to speak until I felt as though she was getting farther and farther away from, but I could hear a little bit of what myself said.

"What pebble will come into our lake, and what pebble will stay out."

As I was shaken awake, I noticed Nya standing right in front of me. She had been telling me she was trying to wake me for a while. She left me, to put on a different pair of clothes. I had just bought clothes for the heat. I went into my dresser, grabbed the blue and grey tie-dye. The tank had ODD written in front of it. I put on my dark grey leggings. I brushed my hair and got ready for the new day. New day... Wait where's Llyod?

I rushed over to the dinning hall, sliding the door open. I say everyone at the table, except my best friend. There was a silence, as they, stared at my loss of air. Heart pounding so hard, still trying to catch my breath. A lump in my throat caught in my throat, as my hand began shaking. I didn't know what was happening. I felt alone once more, I didn't know if Llyod was late too or they haven't found him.

"Where's Llyod?" I asked, holding my breath.

That when they told me, he was held as a prisoner by Pythor. The ninja's told me the story, they followed my friends tracks. It led them to the desert, where the city of snakes was found. The ninja's were caught and battled. Something overcame inside me. I couldn't tell what it was, my blood began to boil. Frustrated, confused, sad. Tears strolled down my eyes as I hit the table.

Nya and the others gasped, looking at me with concern looks in their eyes. Gritting my teeth as I looked down, a hand had slowly crept onto my shoulder. Looking behind me, two arms had wrapped around. I was embraced, crying in their chest. Everyone had come up to me into a group hug. They had told not to worry, that they will get him back. My tears slowly came to a stop.

We began to eat breakfast, but I had no will to eat. I just sat their, fork in hand, pushing my food around. Only eating a little bit of  the pancakes and a few strawberries, I got up from seat. Excusing myself, I went back to my room following up what I doing again. Llyod wasn't here and I just didn't feel like myself. I was inspired for him loving his father so much. Even when his father wasn't around, it made me want that family connection with mine.

My eyes began to tear up, finding the photo of Llyod and I on my wall. Over seeing it, I looked upon my grandmother and I when I was little. She had a smile on her face as she held me. A smile crept on my face. More and more tears rolled down, wishing that Gran was here. I wanted her to comfort me, the way she always did when my mother scolded me.

When my Gran past away, we went to the school for bad boys to tell my brother. He wasn't close to her in any way. Actually it seems he was happy she was gone, both my mother were pretty stoked. Running away from them, I began to cry more. That was when Llyod came up to me, I was in a ball. He just laughed at me, but sat with me. Being an idiot, he tried many different pranks to make me laugh. After he gave up, he accidentally hit the wall. I began to laugh at him an he laughed back. That was the day he became a dear friend.

Before thinking, my feet dragged my body out of my room once more. I didn't know what I wanted to do. On deck, the breeze curved around me, as if it was embracing me. As the wind left, loud thuds rang in my ears. The ninja's were down training and fighting. That's when it hit me. I wanted to train, to be able to protect my friend. Watching the Zane and Kai fighting, Nya came beside me.

"(F/N)?" she asked, "You alright?"

I mumbled before saying it loud enough for Nya to hear," I wanna learn how to fight!"

Begging to learn, I told her to train, or just teach me a little so that I could protect myself. Agreeing to do so, the bobbed hair reach out to me. She gave me a lay out of workout exercise to train. In the work out. In the morning, I was to do 10 crunches, push up, squats. Not to mention stretch's that would help with being flexible enough to do the splits. During the evening, a 5 minutes of holding two books, and 15 min of running around.

Days passed, as Nya and I trained in secret. As I progressed, she added more into my workout. Testing out what I've learned, my trainer decide to lunge at me. Shifting away from her hand, I lifted my left leg, only to change legs to kick Nya. Success I should say, the right legs had gotten her. Although, it only pushed her a few inches away from me. Feeling proud, I launched a couple punch to her. She had dodge all of them until, I had knocked her foot. Thinking I had gotten her, she laid her arms on the ground. Her legs reached out to me and did the same move on me. Laying on the ground, she smile.

"Sure seems like you've very good so far," Nya began," Just practice more."

As our lesson had ended, Sensei Wu and the guys had come to the deck. Sensei Wu would be leaving.  He was leaving to find someone who would be able to help get Llyod back.  As he left, the boys told him that they will be able to reach their full potential.

We then began to search for the fang blade that the serpentine were looking for. We had gone to Jumanikai Village. As we posted up flyers, there were some tension in the air. Eyes of the villagers glared at me like daggers ready to pierce into my skin. I mean I don't blame them. It was long ago that Llyod and I hypnotized them. Anxious, my body stayed close to the ninja. Hoping it would comfort me.

After a while, I felt the wind come. Catching my attention, I move toward Zane. Looking closer to Zane, it was as if he was in a trance. Soon enough, the slight breeze took his papers scattering them across a store front. The owner began yelling at him, yet Zane did not care. As the other ninja picked up the mess, they had seen the Falcon. The Ninja's began to follow the strange bird, telling both Nya and I to go back to our home.

When we came home, my body went straight to the training room. This was the best opportunity train. If the Ninja knew about me training, they might notice my ability of the wind. It's best if I kept that a secret, at least until I choose a path. I must keep my promise to Gran.

After a couple hours of training with the equipment, a loud growl had reached my ears. The fuel tank for my body, empty. Heading toward the dinning area, a faint smell hit my nose. As I sniffed the air, it was all different. There was a meaty peppery smell, a garlic one, and this sweet smell of cinnamon and strawberry. My body bolted to the sliding door and opened swiftly. There stood   Nya with a pie in her hands, looking at me.

"Ah (F/N)," she called," good timing the boys shou.."

Before she could finish, loud male voices roared outside. Getting louder and louder, until the were next to me. We began to eat and they discussed about going on the longest run ever before. Turns out that it wasn't for a fangblade. It was for Zane to see who he truly was. The falcon, a machine. Zane, a machine? I couldn't believe it. Then, Zane opened himself and I could see all his gears. He was a Nindroid.

As dinner ended, it was my turn to clean up after. I wouldn't blame them for that either. Nya cooked the meal and the boys were exhausted for their long journey. Once done, I went to my room. Did my night exercise and got ready for bed.

As I laid in bed, my only thought was if Llyod was safe. What if he wasn't okay. If they were torturing him, or making him do stuff. Thinking of that, tears rolled down my eyes. Don't worry Llyod we will save you.
