All of Nothing

It's been a couple of days since it was discovered that both Llyod and I were the destined green and air ninja. To be honest it was weird to think about it. I always thought that my being wouldn't play a big part. Turns out it is a big deal, at least it says in the prophecy. Not to mention, the outburst that day.

I never done that before, it frightened me. What if I do that again? What if I hurt someone? It was out of control. These thoughts kept running through my mind as I laid on top of my bean bag. It bothered me so much, that the wind I created could get that strong. Next thing I knew, Llyod's hand was right in front of me. Shocked, my body slid right off the chair.

"Are you okay," the blonde boy asked. He held out his hand, helping me get back on my feet.

"Yeah I'm okay," I mumble out, "just lost in thought."

Llyod then told me about everyone is meeting in the bridge, and decided to get me as well. The ninja's had found out where the last fang blade was located. A snake in Ninjago City  told them, after discussing that the devourer would eat him and the rest of any body. Apparently,  from I heard in the discussion, Pythor would be already digging it up right now.

"Well, why don't we get the other three back," Llyod implied.

"Yeah, wouldn't it be risky traveling with all the fang blades," backing up my best friend.

Everyone agreed, including the ice nindroid, they would keep the blades somewhere in a safe place. Trying to figure out where they would be, no spottings of the serpentine anywhere across the land. Then it hit me, Snake don't stay above ground, the burrow underneath. Telling this to the only other girl around, she put on the map and it showed an underground fortress that had all of the tombs connect. In the center was where all the serpentine were.

We headed over to the entrance of the one of their tombs. As I was chatting with Nya, Sensei Wu joined us.

"So Nya has been secretly training you hmm," he began, stroking his long white beard.

"Well it was more like exercise routines in order to help her defend herself," the young lady told Sensei," I didn't really train along with her, she did that on her own."

"Well then Nya and the ninjas will train you and Llyod when we stop Pythor."

Continuing our chat, I told them both why I didn't train with Nya. It was because I was afraid of someone knowing about my wind friend. I also told them of the promise with my Gran, who indeed was right it was better for me to not let that happen until the right time. Getting that off my chest, put me at ease. A great pain lifted off my chest, I didn't feel alone anymore.I knew my promise was achieved, I chosen the path of good.

The path of good, I could see it now. There was never a drop of evil running through my veins. Spending most of my time with Gran, the thought made me happy. Of course since choosing this path, I can no longer be a part of my family. Even so, seem I've got one of my own. They may not be blood related, but they are my family. Nya, Kai, Cole, Zane, Jay, Llyod, and Sensei Wu, they are my family now.

We reached our destination, the constrictai tomb. It was decided that Llyod and I stayed on board with Llyod's father, while the others went to get them. To be honest, I wanted to tag along,  though it was better for me to stay. I didn't actually train one on one, except on progress report with Nya.

Waiting in my room, I looked upon the fan that flew at me that day. According to Sensei, it had belong to one of my ancestors. I was told that, my ancestor was powerful, but kind. He had a friendship bond with the first spinjitsu master, Wu and Garmadons father. Even so, he felt great fear of the power and his descendants. What Wu said, my relative feared one of his dreams. A dream of the kindness he had would disappear once he died and the new carrier of the elemental power of air would do evil deeds. Before he died, he gave the fan to the first spinjitsu master. My ancestor from what I heard, said that "the fan will choose the next, the true master of air. Some one who has yet to decide the path of good or evil. When they decide to be on the path of good, it will fly to them. When that time comes, help them on their path."

As my hand grazed the fan, I jolted back. It probably best that I don't touch it right now. I've seen Zane accidentally freeze himself. I had no clue what harm I could do with it. Better to be safe than sorry.

Deciding to leave my room, I head back to the bridge and see if everything was okay. Turning to to door. Loud cries were heard. My best friend had just yelled at his father, saying that we didn't need his help. Hiding behind the door to the bridge, Lord Garmadon came out and spotted me there. The old man look at me, sorrow in his eyes. Knowing he was leaving, I told him that he had a choice to help us, even if there was evil running in his veins.

Once Llyod's father disappeared from my view, I went onto the bridge. Llyod had gotten a distress call from Nya. Their plan had failed and needed back up. I did't understand the controls, once we did, We told the gang that we'd be coming to help. Not sure I'd be any help, not to mention Llyod not knowing anything yet. He did find his green gee, even mine.

My gee was different from the others. It was some sort of dress, light blue with gray for details and an air symbol covering near my shoulder. Slits were on each side, making it easy to move. Underneath was a pair of gray shorts. As I wore my suit, it was a bit big on me. The two of us left the bounty.

As we reached the inside of the cave, all of the serpentine were surrounding a ring. Two different snakes were battling. Above them, our team was locked up in a cage. Noticing us, they all got up,  one of their hands chained up. Before I could come up with a plan, Llyod was already running down. He tripped over himself, down he went in front of all the snakes. Once down he tried to hit Pythor but he knocked him down.

With some help with the wind, dropped me off safely onto platform. Some of the snake people had a shocking face on. They still thought that two kids wouldn't be able to, but then Lord Garmadon entered the underground fortress. He didn't come alone, his old skeleton army was with him. The fight between skeletons and snakes distracted everyone, while Llyod and I searched for a way to free the ninja. Finally, the lever on the ground was triggered, opening the cage.

We all began to fight. Even witht the training I had before, I was a bit slow. Groups of serpentine came at me. They had circled around me, and I knew it was gonna be tough. But all of a sudden, a gust flew them away from me. Smiling, I began to battle with help from the wind. Many snake had blown away from me. As I ran towards the others.

Once we all grouped up, Cole had found the fang blades. That is when we headed out, back on to the Bounty. Flying away, I had gone into my room to change out of the baggy gee. Putting on the moon shirt and my gray hoodie. Leaving my room, I found Garmadon leaving on the deck. Smiling at me, he asked a question.

"(F/N) you are a dear friend to my son," he softly said," Make sure to look after him."

"Don't worry I will."

After I said those words, he grinned once more. In a blink of an eye, he was gone. Llyod then came toward me sighing. Knowing it was his father, I just patted him on the back and we both headed toward the bridge to party with the others.
