"shut up xevier , i scolded him."

"no i am telling you the truth ...1st of all my mate is on other side of the border & secondly i don't even know she love me or not..what if she reject me?"

"that's not gonna happen, i told him."

while xevier was irritating me , lucy & jason was dancing perfectly in there reception ...like they are made for each other , ofcourse they are made for each other annie ...fuck they are mates.

you know what is unbelievable ethan is yours. i mean 1st of all i was shocked to know that i am his mate but now i am feeling amazing like...back off he is my mate.

"you need to stop doing that ,xevier told me."

"doing what?"

"talking to yourself."

how does he know ?..nobody ever noticed that not even becca.

"because i am genius."

i was going to confront him but ethan came & xevier was managed to escape.

"can i have this dance" , ethan asked like a gentleman & i cannot say no to that.

"yaa sure," i said while giving my hand to his.

we slowly make our way to the stage were other couples were dancing already.

"can i ask you something?"

"aren't you gonna ask anyway ", ethan said while raising an eyebrow & pulling me closer towards him.

i chuckled at his response , " what can i say , i am just a curious girl."

"that you are for sure ."

"why didn't you tell me at the 1st place i was your mate?"

"and scared you away from me babygirl ?"

"oh!!"

we were dancing in a perfect sync & i don't think it can be perfect anymore.should i confess my feelings for him ...is it too soon i don't care i am going to tell him.

" ALPHA ETHAN" somebody shouted.

soon jason make his way towards us but he stopped in the midway  & mindlink  ethan in front of me.

"ethan what is it ?" i asked in a hope that nothing bad has happened.

i can sense that ethan was in tension  but he quickly covered his concern with a smile.

"nothing babygirl you go find lucy...

"alpha ethan i think she can stay for this one" , ethan growled in annoyance.

soon ethan's uncle emerged form the crowd with some of his man with a devilish smirk on his face like he had achieved something big.

"annie isn't it..sorry for the last time we didn't get a chance for a proper introduction ", he tried to shake my hand but ethan pulled me back with his hand.   

"martha didn't you teach your son how to behave with his family?"

martha looked towards ethan with uncertainty trying to figure out what to say.

ethan's grip on my hand got stronger before he said, "get out & stay away from us."

his uncle didn't respond to this & simply smirked towards ethan.

"I SAID GET OUT YOU FUCKER"the moment he shout i flinched back  because he was fuming in anger.

i don't think ethan is no longer there & his wolf had taken the control.

"don't worry son i wasn't planning to stay any longer ...just wanted to say that soon you will be begging in front of me."

ethan gave him a questionable look before grabbing his collar .."what do you fucking mean by that?"

"ethan leave him, i plead."

"ethan please let him go you can deal with this later ", i request him.

he soon let him go & his uncle made his exit to the reception , there was a dead silence for few minutes after that jason apologize to everyone & the party continued . ethan turned towards the mansion & i followed him.

"not now annie ", he told me. i can sense the level of tension going on ethan's mind because he called me annie not babygirl.

"but..

"no buts annie...please go otherwise you don't know what the fuck i will do" , he nearly shout at me but i don't mind because i wanted to help him in this moment & i don't wanted to leave.

"but mates take care to each other", i said it & mentally slap myself like seriously this is the best way to clam somebody.

"what?" he give me questionable look.

i no longer cared what he will think about me , i slowly approach towards ethan while he was looking outside the window & taped his shoulder ...he looked at me for a second before i kissed him on the lips . His lips was smooth & i was feeling hot but a part of  me was scared that he will push me away or reject me but non of that happened.

there was battle for dominance in which he wins.

after a moment when we broke the kiss i was breathing heavily & their was a satisfied smirk on his face.

"ethan i am not ready yet" , i spoke softly because as much as like him & don'y want to rush things this time. A part of me know that he will never hurt me but i want to take my time.

"its okay babygirl we will go slow" , he smiled after saying this.

"you want to go back" , i asked him.

"yes before i change my mind & take you right here."

he quickly gave a peck on my forehead before we joined everyone in the backyard for cake cutting.

"come on guys come quickly both of you" , xevier said before adding " jason is getting impatient."he received a smack on head by jason & everybody laughed.

both jason & lucy cut the cake & kissed each other. ethan came from behind & pulled me closer and whispered ,"you know that will be us someday."

"how can you be so much sure about that , i asked."

"meaning babygirl?"

"i can reject you" , i said.

"nice try , he laughed."

"hey don't laugh at me i can" , i pout.

he laughed more at my face & i walked away form him from the corner of eyes a saw him following me before i crashed with martha.

"sorry martha ."

"ah! its okay...come on help me we have things to do" , she said.

"but 1st of all thank for coming in the our life annie."

she thanked me & in that moment i know everything was perfect now.

i didn't know at that time nothing was going to be perfect anymore.
