It's been almost a week since the kiss and things haven't been great at all. Fen and I have hardly talked and when we have it's been so robotic and stiff that it hurts. I can't tell if it's due to uncertainty or if he regrets it. I just wish the silence would end. I sigh and turn the corner to get to my class, only to have my way blocked by a very scary looking Laurie.
"What the hel is going on between you and my brother?"
Well I definitely wasn't expecting this. Then again, Fen and I haven't exactly been covert. But still, I don't know if I should tell her.
"Ummmmm... I have no idea what you're talking about?"
Yep, that definitely didn't work. Now Laurie reeeaaaaly looks angry.
"No, I have a feeling that you do. Fen has been moping around even more than usual. He's not acting like himself! I went on a date with Owen and he didn't even make one snide comment! Also, the reason I know it has to do with you is because he usually doesn't shut up about you and now he completely shuts down at the slightest mention of you. So, you WILL go to him and sort out whatever is wrong or I'll personally lock the two of you in a closet untill you do!"
I'm honestly scared for my life at this point. With one final withering glare that shakes my very soul she turns and walks away like nothing happened.
Guess I'll go find Fen then...
