I'm on my back again
Dreaming of a time and place
Where you and I remain the best of friends
Even after all this ends
Can we pretend?

〈 Kimberly 〉

〈 A Week Later 〉

"How'd it go?" Christina asked.
"Well basically they said they'd contact me but usually when I hear things like that, I don't get the part." I explained whilst untying my shoes, standing up.

She nodded, spinning in her office chair.

I just came home from another movie auditioning.

"Well if you're going to ask me, I have a podcast to do." she smirked.

I gasped, putting my shoes in the shoe rack.

"No way!" I said in-disbelief. "That's pretty exciting!"
"Uh-huh, and I get to talk in an actual microphone, rather than speaking nonsense to you for like five hours." she blabbered.

I chuckled.

"That's a big sigh of relief from me." I sighed.

My phone bings.

"Welp, there's another crazy Why Don't We fan asking about me." I groaned. "It's been a week and I'm still not recovered."
"Jesus it was just a week!" Christina exclaimed. "Houses never gets finished in a week." she added.

I knit my eyebrows.

"Do you deal with this thing, Christina?" I asked, curious.
"Not much, I mean people know Corbyn and I are dating but they aren't making it such of a big deal." she shrugged.
"So it means, if I go public, they won't bother anymore?" I asked, getting ideas.
"Yeah because they don't have to ask anything." she nodded. "Oh my, what are you thinking now?" she whined.

I laughed.

"Nothing. I- It's just that that thing you said doesn't work. Zach and I were too public on the media that Andrea found out about him." I ranted.
"Hey chill, your boyfriend sings so obviously he's famous!" she retort.
"Ex. Not boyfriend." I quickly corrected.

She rolls her eyes.

"Whatever you say. Whatever you say." she smiled widely before spinning back in her office chair.

I sighed, plopping down at the couch.

"So should I just go public?" I asked.
"Public with... whom?" Christina asked confusedly. "Are you dating Zach again?"

I coughed.

Almost choked.

"No I- I- I'm um, d- dating uh," I stammered. "Dating." I grinned.

She knit her eyebrows.

"Dating?" she trailed.

I bursted out of laughter by her facial expressions.

"If it was a Friday night and you were a badass, I would've thought you're drunk." she sighed, sipping her coffee. "But no. So, who are you dating?" she asked.
"Daniel! Okay, I- I'm dating Daniel." I blurted out.

〈 Zach 〉

"YOU'RE WHAT?!" I yelled.

Daniel nodded, hiding his smile and his face was almost tomato red.

Ugh, gross.

I wasn't like that when I was dating Kim.

Well, maybe because I was like fifteen then.

But still.

"I- I'm happy for you two. Hope it works out... a little better than it was to us." I smiled fakely.
"Bro, this feels so wrong since I'm dating your ex." he said.

It is wrong, for Pete's sake.

Everything about it is wrong!

The fact that he is dating my ex is bullshit.

"Well if I wouldn't lie it feels okay to me." I shrugged. "Well I gotta go to my mom's place, I'll be back." I pat his back and stood up.
"Hey if we have problems just tell me right away okay?" Daniel asked.

I nodded.
