I just want to say I am so thankful that people are actually reading this, it makes me so happy. I'm really sorry that I only update about once a month, this is my first book that people are actually reading, so I am not used to feeling like I have to update. I still feel like I'm disappointing cause I don't update

It's the next day at school, Freddy's mum, Vivian, is driving him to school.

"Freddy, what's that purple wrist band for?" Vivian questioned.

Freddy panicked, saying the first thing that came to his mind, "Oh I um- I need to wear it for a school group project, our group names are colours, therefore the purple wrist band, because my group is purple group."

Vivian raised her eyebrows, finding it weird that he had to permanently wear a wrist band when it's only for one subject. It's not like he can take it off and put it back on when the class starts. When you put a wrist band on, you wear it until you take it off, and when you take it off, you can't put it back on.

Freddy's heart started beating rather fast. He needed to find out who his soulmate is, and fast.

If he doesn't find out soon, his mum will start getting suspicious as to why a school project is lasting so long.

Knowing himself, he will probably be staring at everyone's wrist for the next few days, to the point where it gets creepy... But in that very moment, he couldn't care less.

"But you should know who is in your group, so you shouldn't have to rely on the wristbands to know what people you're with" Vivian added.

'She's right' Freddy thought to himself, 'I have to think of another excuse.'

"The teacher doesn't trust us, because she thinks we will just change groups whenever we like if there is no proof that were in the right group."

She just hummed, "Fair enough."

-

"Have a good day sweetheart, don't get into too much trouble!" She laughed, knowing I'm not like that.

"I won't, bye mum." He waved at her as he shut the car door, walking into hell.

Freddy was praying in his head as he walked through the double doors, that he would not bump into Jay. That's the last thing he needs right now.

As Freddy made his way to his locker, he was doing what he promised himself he wouldn't do.... staring at everyone's wrists like a weirdo.

He quickly caught himself and diverted his eyes back to the ground.

Just as he was about to stop at his locker, suddenly, someone harshly knocked his shoulder as they walked past, Freddy tripped, head slamming straight into his locker.

"Ow!" He turned around in a glare, not surprised to see Jay.

Jay just scoffed as he turned around to face Freddy, crossing his arms.

Freddy was about to divert his eyes, until Jay crossed his arms. Something stood out and jumped into his line of sight.

He couldn't take his eyes off of it.

Freddy felt like his whole world just got ripped out.

"Hey! What are you looking at?" Jay snapped as he looked down at his arm, furrowing his brows in confusion.

Jays eyes slowly made their way to Freddy's wrist, a gasp leaving his lips.

Freddy's eyes finally snapped up to meet Jay's wide eyes.

He couldn't believe Jay had a purple wrist band on.

They're soulmates.
