Also sorry, it's been a month since I updated.. I try, but tbh I always forget about this book.

"What is that?" Jay asked is he pulled Freddy's arm up to his face to take a closer look.

"I don't know.." Freddie's eyes widened.

"It must be our bond, when I burn my wrist band off, I will probably have the same thing."

"But- but how are we meant to hide this if we have matching glowing tattoos?"

"Wear long sleeves? I don't know...we'll think of something ok?" Jay said as he stared out at the river.

Jay continued to stare into the distance for the next 10 seconds, he snapped out of his trance when he felt the lighter being plucked from his hand, "My turn to burn yours," Freddy smiled sheepishly.

Jay nodded, holding out his arm as Freddy held the lighter close to the wrist band. When the lighter touched the band, it quickly lit on fire, fire circling his wrist.

The paper quickly burnt to a deep black colour, breaking apart and falling off of Jay's wrist onto the grass below.

They both looked to Jay's wrist to see that the exact same swirl was marked on his wrist, as it was on Freddy's.

Freddy then held his wrist up, right next to Jay's, "I think they're cute."

Jay looked to Freddy as if he had just said the sky was green, "How is this cute?"

"I've always wanted a tattoo," he grinned.

"Me too, but not this. We didn't even get to choose the pattern. A swirl is so plain. Plus, I don't think you would ask the tattoo artist to make it glow."

"Well, no but.. I still think it's cute. Just because it's small, doesn't mean it has no meaning. If anything, this is a tattoo with more meaning than we even know."

Jay sighed, "Yeah I know. I know I'll probably grow to like it, I just don't right now since I have no way to cover it up. Neither do you. You know our school doesn't allow tattoos."

"Yeah, I know..."

Jay sighed, "Why did this have to happen?" He asked as he ran his hands down his face.

"Maybe we could tell the school," Freddy suggested.

"Are you out of your mind?" Jay yelled in shock, "We can't tell anyone, you know that!"

"Ok then, we'll just wear long sleeves!"

"What about in the summer?"

"I don't know, okay? Well think of something! Let's just focus on now."

Jay reluctantly nodded, "Okay, sorry if I'm stressing you out."

Freddy looked to Jay to see he had an anxious look on his face, like he was worried about the future, but he knew Freddy was right.

"You aren't stressing me out. We're both just worried about what's going to happen. But we'll have eachother... right?" Freddy said softly, looking into Jay's crystal blue eyes.

"Right." He smiled.
