chapter four ;; surprises

I look at the screen as i walk down the halls of my school, I had texted Billie and we had a long conversation about our life's, we were so different

After all that we finally exchanged numbers and she promised to FaceTime me so I can know that she's not playing around about being Billie Eilish

I see her calling and I rush to the bathroom and I answered it, I froze as it connected and I was looking at a ceiling, I blow my face up low-key starting to think it was a catfish but out of no where Billie peeked into the camera and I widen my eyes a little

I know we agreed to be friends but damn, from her neon roots to her current black sweater that she was showing in the camera, I was fascinated by how beautiful she was, I smile as she laughs a little "this is lowkey weird as fuck", I smile and nod as I look around to make sure no one was around

Billie looks at me and smiles a little as she shakes her head looking down, smiling "what?"  I ask as I look at her through the screen

"I thought you were a catfish and then I thought you were using me for clout but looks like you don't want anyone knowing huh"

I look at her and shrug as I rub my side with my free arm and sigh as I look at the screen again "okay how about I call you after I get out", Billie nods and smiles as she blows a kiss to the phone and hangs up, did she just, did I just...okay

After volleyball tryouts I head home and head to my room to shower and things of that nature, my Mom's weren't home because they said they had business to take care of

I put a sweatsuit on and put my hair up and then head downstairs to make myself some food, only to be interrupted by the door, I walk to the door and sigh "Who Is It?" I asked in a totally opposite way that I was feeling

I sigh in frustration when they don't answer and I open the door to see Billie, I freeze, everything freeze "Surprise Bestie" She says and she starts coming inside and I slam the door on her
