Chapter 1: The Miraculous Ladybug

*Adrien's POV*

~Weeks later~

 I woke up with a yawn as my alarm went off. I hear myself groan as I slap the clock. "Be quieet! I'm uuup!" I  hear the click of the off button, then it's silent. Dragging myself out of bed I pat down my hair and rub my eyes weakly. *Sigh* I stretch and yawn, walking to the bathroom. *Knock knock knock* I jump at the sudden noise. "gAH! u-Uh yes?" I see Natalie peep her head into my room. "Is there someone else here? I thought I heard a girl scream." I felt warmth spread up my cheeks. "U-uh no that was me, Natalie...", I say. Natalie looks like she's holding back a laugh. "Okay, Mr. Agreste, please get ready. Your father is waiting for you in the dining hall." I nod as she backs out of my room. *siGh* I get dressed and brush my hair and teeth. 
 After cleaning myself up, I came out to the dining room. I look at my father in his usual grumpy state as I sit down. I clear my throat, making my father look at me with a raised brow. "Father, today is the first day of school.", I state. "So?", he already sounds irritated, better make this quick. "Well, I was wondering if I could go? Chloe will be there, so I won't be alone. Please?", I ask. I really want to go because I want to socialize. It's not like my father socializes with me so yeah. I feel anger flash inside me as he replies, "No." He doesn't even say why! "Why not? Everyone else goes to school! Father, I'm done living in isolation, I want to socialize! Please!?", I shout. Suddenly my father stands, at first, I think he's leaving, but then he comes towards me and slaps me across the face! "I said no.", he says coldly and heads toward the door, then he stops. "Also, since you think you lie isolated, you will no longer be at all shown to the public. No fencing or modeling anymore, Boy.", he growls, then leaving. I feel my heart sink and my anger grow. I'm going to school if he likes it or not.

~Several Minutes Later~

 As I reach the school steps I realize I'm early. I suddenly hear a car pulling up to the school and I turn. "Dammit..." It's Natalie and Gorilla.  I run up the school steps when I hear, "Gah!". I turn to see an old man reaching for his cane on the floor. I sigh, I can't just leave him there. "Are you alright?", I ask, helping him up and handing him his cane. "Yes, thank you, young man.", he smiles. I smile back, "No problem, Sir." I feel Gorilla's arm on my soldier. Crap. Natalie comes up next to him. "Come along, Mr. Agreste. Your father is very angry, it's best to come home.", she says. "Okay..", I sigh and follow her into the car. Now I'm a bit scared.

~Several Minutes Later~

 I come into my father's office and close the door behind me. My father stands there as Natalie's heals clip-clapped down the hall. As soon as her steps faded, my father hit me upside the head. "You deliberately disobeyed me!! How dare you, Boy!!", he shouted. He hit me across the face. I feel myself wince as he grabs my hair. "Don't you dare disobey me, ever, and I mean ever, again!!", he shouted in my face, then throwing me to the ground. "Go to your room, now! Also, you can forget about lunch or dinner, as punishment you won't eat!", he growls. I stand shakily and leave the room. I hurry to my room and close and lock the door.
 Today is the worst. I go to sit down at my desk and sigh. I look at my hands for a moment before realizing there's a small box next to them. "Hmm?" I reach for the box and open it. There's a blinding flash of green light, making me drop the box and close my eyes. "Um, Kid?", I hear, making me open my eyes. "Gah! Floating rat!", I hear myself shout. The rat frowns. "I am not a rat! Why does everyone always think I'm a rat!?", the rat- well... the not rat shouts. "I am a Kwami! A black CAT Kwami to be exact. Also, my name is Plagg.", he states. "Oh. So, uh, what are you doing here, Plagg?" "I'm here to grant you the powers of the Black Cat Miraculous." I look around for that box and pick it up. Inside is a ring, I slide it on and examine it. "So... now what?", I ask. "You say Plagg, Claws Out!, to transform into Chat Noir-aaaaaah!!!", he's cut off as I transform. I hurry to the restroom and look at myself in the mirror. "Woah." Suddenly I hear a Bing! "What the?" I realize I'm holding a staff and open it. "There's a rock monster attacking citizens of Paris!!", the reporter shouts from the news broadcast. "Wait, who's that!? It's...it's a superhero???", the newscast flashes off and I put the staff in my belt. "Well, are ya gonna go help her?", I hear in my mind, it's Plagg. "Of course I am! I can't leave whoever that is out there alone!"
 
~Several Minutes Later~

 I find myself alone. I look around but can't seem to spot her. "Where is she?" I extend my staff and walk on it like a tightrope. "Hey, Plagg, I think I'm starting to get used to it." I feel my cat ears twitch as I hear an "AAAGH!" I look to see the red hero flying towards me. Before I know it I'm tangled up, upsidedown. We swing for a few seconds. "Hi, you could say I'm glad you dropped by!", I joke with a laugh, but she looks super embarrassed. "I'm sorry, I didn't do it on purpose.", she apologizes. I laugh. "It's okay." By the time we get down, several minutes have already passed.

  "Okay, well now that that's out of the way. I'm Chat Noir, and you are M'Lady?", I ask, taking her hand for a kiss. She pushes my face away with a smile. "Ladybug. I mean, I'm Ladybug." I smile and bow in a gentlemanly manner. "Nice to meet you, M'Lady. Now, how about we stop that rock monster?" Ladybug smiles but then looks embarrassed again. "Uh, I already did but I didn't do it right sooo. Now there's more of them. I don't think I'm suit out to be a hero...", she says, rubbing her arm in shame. "Hey, it's only your first run. Everyone makes mistakes.", I say, smiling in reassurance. Ladybug nods and puts on a determined face. "Let's go break up those rocks!"

 We arrive at a stadium to see the rock villain breaking and throwing things. Ladybug seems composed but I feel a bit nervous now. What do I do? Plagg, hearing me, replies, "Your power is Cataclysm, it destroys anything it touches. After using it, it only takes a little bit of time to detransform." I smile and call out, "Cataclysm!!!" I start running towards the monster when I feel Ladybug pull me back. "No! There's a person in there!", she says. "Oh.", I sigh and close my hand, hiding the destructive energy. "So what do we do?", I ask. "I'll figure it out.", she says.

~Several Minutes Later~

 "Wow, we did it!", Ladybug outbursts jumping and hugging me in triumph. "Yep!", I laugh hugging her back. "Oh sorry, I got excited.", she laughs letting go of me. Both of our miraculous beep making Ladybug frown. "We're about to transform back. So, I guess this is goodbye Chat Noir.", she sighs. I smile and wave as I begin walking away, "See ya around, M'Lady." She rolls her eyes and swings away. "Wow, that girl is amazing!", I shout as I run off towards home. "I wonder when I'll see her again, the miraculous Ladybug.", I say as I enter my room. Plagg smiles as I detransform, "The Miraculous Ladybug indeed. NOW GIVE ME CHEESE!!!"
