Going on tour with Big Time Rush (A Kendall Schmidt Lovestory)

Chapter 33

We drove back to the hotel and went back to our rooms to get ready for lunch. As soon as I got ready, I heard a knock o my door and I opened it. It was Kendall.

"Hi"

"Hi Marie"

"How were the interviews?"

"Great and how was the zoo?"

"Amazing"

"I wanted to come over to check if you’re ready to go to have lunch."

"I’m ready!"

"Okay then. Let’s go!"

We went outside the hotel and Kendall blindfolded me, so I couldn’t see where we were going. Therefore, I wasn’t really sure where we were going to, but Kendall said that it would be a surprise so I didn’t had any chance to ask because he wouldn’t give me an answer anyway. After about a ten minutes’ walk we had probably arrived to wherever he wanted to go because he stopped immediately.

He opened the blindfold and in front of me was a picnic arranged in the middle of a park. I was speechless for a moment.

"Is everything alright with you?"

"Yes of course. That’s so…so beau-ti-ful" I began to stutter. I fell the butterflies in my stomach again and I was so nervous because a boy hasn’t ever made a picnic for me before.

"Sit down"

"Thank you."

"Do you like something to drink and to eat?"

"Yes, please"

He began to open the picnic basket and put out all kind of foot and some water. He put some salad out on a plate and filled the glass with water. Then he gave me the plate so I could start eating. But since I didn’t want to eat, before he started putting out his meal, I waited.

"Don’t you like the salad, since you haven’t started eating yet?"

"No, no. Salad is fine for me but I wanted to wait for you, to start eating."

"Aww... That’s so cute and sweet."

"Thank you Kendall."

I couldn’t believe what I just heard Kendall say. I never heard a guy say 'You’re so cute and sweet' to me. I felt that I had a whole bunch of butterflies in my stomach and hope that Kendall felt the same way about me as I did for him.              

We started eating the salad and talking.

"How do you like your experience so far?"

"Its absolutely amazing. It was a huge surprise for me, when I got the message that I won, because I thought I will participate but I have no change to win this trip. And now I’m here with you in Indianapolis in a park."

"I’m so happy that you won, because I never knew that I would sit with just a beautiful girl in the park and share such an amazing experience with her."

I didn’t know how to react to what he said.

I realized how Kendall started to change the subject: "Tonight we will play a show here in Atlanta and then tomorrow afternoon we will start towards Columbus."   

"That sounds great."

"You’re coming tonight, aren’t you?"

"Sure. I never missed a show the whole tour so far."

"That’s amazing. What I wanted to ask you,…”
