We drove to the middle of the city. We stepped out of the bus and then Lex and I went to the shops and the boys were going into the building of that radio station.
When we came near the shops, we decided to look into the window first. In the first shop, I immediately saw, that it was too expensive.
I knew, that Alexa was in shops like this before, but I wasn’t. Therefore, I knew nothing about what I can or can’t do. It was a whole other world for me, because where I live there aren’t shops like this one.
No, that’s not true. There are shops like this one, but I never thought I would go into one in my life. Therefore, I went always-straight forward and never looked in the window or anything like that, because I knew I can’t buy anything and when I go in there and see something cute, I just get sad.
Anyways, Lex told me, that we go in there and just look a little bit, and maybe try on some cute clothes.
We stepped in, and in the door stood a big security man. He remembered me a little bit about …, our security man, whose on tour with us.
We went through the shop and I quickly found a dress, which I immediately like a lot.
“OMG, that dress is so beautiful.” I said.
“If you like it, then you should try it on.”
“I-I don’t kn-know.” I began to stutter.
Then I looked on the price tag. When I saw how much it actually cost I put it back at the place where it was.
“What happened?”
“I don’t like it anymore.”
“I thought two minutes ago you said you love it?”
“Yes, I did, but not anymore.”
“What’s the real problem Marie?”
“It’s too expensive for me.”
“How much does it cost?”
“200$”
“You know what?”
“What?”
“Try it on; I think you look amazing in it.”
“Really?”
“Really.”
“And what’s with the prize?”
“Just forget the prize for a minute.”
I went in the locker room and tried on the dress.
It was a white lace dress with a little black belt on it.
When I had it on, I looked in the mirror and asked myself if this is a dream. Then I stepped out of the locker room, where Lex was waiting for me.
I could see her face expression. It looked as if she liked it as much as I did.
“Wow, you look amazing in this dress.”
“Thank you.”
Then a little tear fell down from my eyes. Alexa came over to me.
“What happened, Marie?”
“I’m sad, that I can’t buy it.”
I turned around, went back into the locker room, and changed back into my clothes.
When I stepped back out I couldn’t see Alexa. I went to the sale assistant, gave him the dress, and searched Alexa. I couldn’t find her anywhere. Therefore, I decided to call her.
When I saw her coming back into the store, I hang up.
“Where were you?”
“I was outside. Los called me, where we are. We have to go back, they have finished their interview.”
“Okay, let’s go back.”
“Okay, but could you do me a favor first?”
“Sure. What can I do for you?”
“Could you go to Starbucks and get us something to drink?”
“What should I bring you?”
“A medium coffee, please.”
“Okay, I’ll be back in a second.”
Alexa’s POV:
When Marie was out of the shop, I went straight to the sale assistant and said: “…”
