PROLOGUE


"I'm calling the engagement off." Aphrodite casually said as Jonathan sat on the chair in front of her wide table.


"W-What?" he stuttered.


"You heard me the first time. I'm not going to repeat myself, sweetheart."


"Am I not good enough? Do you have problems with me?" Jonathan is frustrated. He do not know the reason why she cancelled their plans.


She does. She kept all her emotions bottled up. And this is her last straw.


"Your obnoxious mother was the problem, hun. She may think she's the devil, but I'm sorry to burst her bubble, but..." she leans closer to him and said, "she's just a replica. You know who the authentic one is." She smirked and winked at her now ex-fiancé. "We're done."


She stood up of her chair and walked away from the bastard.
