Natsu's POV
Gray and I started dating a few days ago. He confessed his feelings for me.
It was a Tuesday afternoon...
The bell had just rang which signaled the end of the school day. I was walking down the stairs of the school when I saw Gray at the bottom of the stairs. I smiled at him when I got all the way down and said, "Hey, Gray. Waiting for someone?" Gray nodded and said, "Yeah, you." I looked at him surprised. "Why you waiting for me Droopy Eyes?", I asked wanting to go home and eat. "Don't call me that you flame freak! Anyways, I gotta tell you something.", He said a little irritated. "Okay. Tell me so I can go home and eat. Wendy said Rouge is cooking and I love his food." Gray rolled his eyes then said, "I like you like more than friends. Okay? I know you don't like me back but, I had tell you." He said that so quickly I almost didn't understand what he said. I stood there shocked.
He seemed sad and was starting to walk away. No don't go I like you too. I was so scared this was some kind of joke and if I go up to him and say I like him too he'll laugh then make fun of me. "Wait...", I said barely above a whisper. He turned back then said, "What? You gonna call me a fag or something?!" He looked so mad but sadder. I ran to him and hugged him. He didn't hug me back, he stayed as still as a pole. "I like you too, Gray.", I looked up at him since he was a bit taller than me. "Please tell me this wasn't a prank or something...", I whispered. He shook his head and in a second hugged me back. "No. No, it's not a prank."

Since then we've been dating. It's been 3 days.
The weird thing was he didn't hug me nor hold my hand or even came too close to me. Even when I wanted him to and got close he would back away a little. For example, yesterday we were at this party and I sat next to him wanting him to hold my hand or hug me but, he didn't. That made me a bit sad and embarrassed because every couple in our friend group was hugging or making out. I'm going to confront him today when he comes over.

I was watching some anime called Fairytale. It was pretty interesting and the main characters were like my friends. That's when I heard my doorbell then someone knocking and I knew it was Gray. He was the only one who knocked and pressed the doorbell. I went to the door opening it and seeing my handsome boyfriend. "Hey, Flame Freak. I brought some ramen for us. Then we can go to the park.", he said with a radiant smile. Before we dated he rarely smiled. He always had that 'I don't give a fuck' look.
"Where you get the ramen from?", I asked excitedly. "I got it from 'R. House.' The best for my boyfriend.", he said with a chuckle. Just hearing that I quickly snatched the bag from his grip. I ran to the kitchen then placed the bag on the table. I opened it and seeing the gorgeous ramen. I grabbed mine than in a second started eating. "Woah, calm down.", Gray said sitting down, grabbing his ramen and eating slowly unlike me. "You don't tell me to calm down.", I said pretending to be angry. "I gotta talk to you when we're finished eating.", I said. He looked at me with a confused glare. He ate his ramen then asked, "Natsu, what's wrong?"
He looked at me awaiting my answer to his question. No, let me eat in peace. Damn. "Like I said after we eat." He put on that face of 'I don't give a fuck.'
After we finished the delicious, spectacular, divine ramen he grabbed the empty plate and threw them away. "Now tell me.", he demanded. I got up and walked to the living room sitting the fluffy couch. "Goddammit. Natsu just tell me.", he said sitting next to me. "Why don't you hold my hand, hug me, kiss me or anything in fact?! Every couple holds hands and makes out. Don't you see Lucy and Loke always with each other always hugging each other? They are attached like glue not able to be separated.", I ranted. Gray stayed quiet until like two minutes passed. He said, "Natsu, we started dating three days ago. That's not that long of a time. I'm not ready to be making out in public and shit..." I sighed then asked, "Then why don't you at least hold my hand or hug me. You don't even come too close to me... That makes me sad, Gray." Gray seemed to get annoyed at this and stayed quiet. He finally said after a good amount of time, "I'm afraid I'll make you uncomfortable or something. Plus, this the first time I dated a guy. At least you dated a guy before. What if people stare or try to attack us as we've seen on the news?" I then scooted closer to him. He was looking at his lap his hands on the side of his head. I then said, "Gray, if you made me uncomfortable somehow in any way I would tell you as you can tell me if I do. You shouldn't be afraid that other people stare and judge us. It's your life and not theirs. If they try to hurt us you know we're strong and we always stay close to our friends. Don't let them stop you from being yourself and expressing love to me. You know how insecure that's made me that you won't even be too close to me?" Gray sighed and thought he then slowly stood up and brought out his hand. "Come on get up.", he said smiling. I grabbed his hand and stood up. He hugged me and kissed me. I felt fireworks in my belly and my eyes widen. I love Gray so much. It's been three days I don't think he's ready to hear that. When he got out of the hug he grabbed my hands and looked down at me. "Let's go to the park now?", Gray asked. I nodded and he let go of my hand and we walked out to the car.

When we arrived at the park there were many other people there. I don't think Gray is ready to hold my hand in public. I really want to but I want him to be ready too. After all, I'm the first guy he's dated. We started walking to this giant tree that I wanted to climb. Gray then asked, "Natsu, wanna go get some ice cream over there?" He pointed to a blue and yellow ice cream truck. I giggled and said, "Yeah! Of course!" He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him and we started walking to the truck. Okay, let me repeat myself. HE GRABBED MY HAND AND PULLED ME CLOSER IN PUBLIC. I felt my cheeks go red and my heart start beating faster. I smiled this giant smiled. I felt special like he's ready to truly love me and show others he loves me and I love him.
He looked at me with a small smiled and said, "From now on I won't be scared of what others think. Natsu, you're mine and I'm yours."
