There is not going to be POV's more of a third person

Aurora looked up from her desk, her glasses had slid to the base of her nose at this point but she didn't care. She looked around her office, the paperwork growing on desk making her sigh heavily. She slowly stood up from her seat, the wheels pushing it back into the book shelving behind her desk.

"I am going to check on my father, Chase I will be back shortly," Aurora whispered looking at her soon to Beta who looked up from his paperwork smiling lightly.

"Of course your majesty, I will be here for as long as you need me," He laughed, making Aurora smile ever so slightly before it flattened back into the line it was starting to stay at. Aurora began to walk the halls slowly, her heels clicking with each step bouncing off the bare walls. She had cleaned the walls of every picture as most were of her mother and she was tired of finding her father stopping and staring at one for hours at a time.

Aurora knew her father was still in a massive state of grief but it has been 21 years since her mothers passing, and her father acts like every single day is the day she died. She knows that having a Mate means your life revolves around there's but at the same time her father was king, he had a responsibility to withhold. He left his only daughter to take care of a whole country and pack at the age of 16. She loves her father dearly, and he was a father for the first 13 years of her life, then she started to look more and more like her mother and it drove her father away; or so Jefferson the butler says.

She walked up to the door anger pulsing off of her at this point. How was she to do all of this by herself. She banged on the door but there was no answer, not even the typical groan her father loved to make when he was sleeping. She opened the door without waiting for her fathers grumbled 'come in'. She let out a strange gurgling noise as Jefferson had two men in the room zipping up a bag with what looked like her father inside of it.

"Oh dear Aurora, you were not supposed to be in this wing!," Jefferson gasped walking over to her quickly. Aurora quickly pushed past Jefferson and walked slowly to the bag as if it was going to all be a prank and her father was going to scare the life out of her. Once she realized he wasn't going to move she slowly opened the bag back up sobs quickly erupting from her throat. Oh god.

She looked at her fathers body, pale and cold to the touch. His once warm skin is colder than ice. Her body began to shake as she looked at her fathers face, frozen in a peaceful bliss that she wanted nothing more than to ruin to wake him, to scream at him for leaving her.

"W-what happened," Aurora managed to croak out between the sobs looking over at Jefferson who was looking almost as pale as her father. He hated seeing the princess like this, in such a state of devastation and shock. He was like a father to her in many ways, so seeing her like this broke him to pieces.

"I don't know your majesty, I came in to tell your father about dinner this evening with the council men and he was already long gone. Must have been in his sleep darling," Jefferson whispered. Allura slowly nodded, zipping back up the bag looking at the two men.

"I want a full autopsy done on my father, then we are going to hold a grand funeral for the king. I will let the people know tomorrow morning in a press conference. I will be taking the rightful crown come Saturday, and from here forth you will answer to me," She whispered looking around the room, the authority she now held made everyone nod as she was now there Queen.

"Jefferson, tell the council men they will be meeting with me tonight, since my father is no longer. I will be in the dining hall at 7pm sharp," She mumbled looking over at the butler who nodded softly. She shed some more tears before walking out of the room. She couldn't let people see she was weak, she had to be strong for her kingdom. She quickly walked back into her office, her heartbeat pounding in her ears. She marched over to the balcony, flinging it open quickly stepping into the warm summer air. Without a second thought she let out a blood curdling scream before collapsing to the floor in a mess of tears. In the distance she heard her warriors howling sorrowfully at the moon but it was hidden in the lightness of the day. Chase was next to her within seconds holding her tightly to his chest as she let the sobs wreck over her body.
