Aurora and Alaric walked towards the council's office, where all the men already sat, as requested by the Queen that they all be in that room by the time she gets there. She was keeping her wolf at bay from lashing out at every single man who dared threaten her throne early. She wanted, no need, to know that she is not someone you can easily mess around with like that. To send Collin after her like a dog at her mates kingdom. Ridiculous.

"I can feel the anger that you have towards them, Aurora not from the mate bond but from it radiating off of you. Just take a deep breath before walking into those doors and know that you can always build a new more loyal council of people you truly trust. Do not let those men get to your head," Alaric spoke, not sounding like her mate in that moment, more like a king who was oddly relaxing Aurora. To have her mate by her side, not babying her, not pushing her to do something, acting as a king who only had his kingdom at heart, and well of course his queen.

Aurora nodded softly taking a small deep breath before pushing open the doors slightly, making the men in the room jump slightly. Aurora's wolf smiled in the back of her mind, good they have a right to be afraid of us.

"Your majesty, welcome home," Jaffar smiled weakly at her gripping the cup of bourbon in his hands slightly tighter as his hands began to shake. He feared for his job, his title, his life as now that she has found her mate let alone her mate was the Lycan King!

"It is good to be back Jaffar. I missed home dearly but as you know finding your mate can cause you to lose track of some time," She smiled softly, her anger still very in her mind but she had to be the Queen now, she had to talk with respect and authority.

"Now the reason I have asked you all to join me this evening is because I would like to talk about what happened with Caleb and Collin," She spoke, clearing her throat slightly at the end as she looked into every single member's eyes.

"Who's idea was it to send Collin to the Lycan kingdom with Chase and Jefferson?," She asked sitting down at the head of the table, Alaric standing behind her as he glared at the men still not having said a single word.

"It was Caleb's idea, your majesty, we did not know of the plan until the men were already on their way to see you," Jackson, the second eldest, said, looking at the two with soft eyes. He was speaking the truth.

"Well as I am still not pleased with the stunt some of you pulled. I will be happy to say you all are still welcome on the council, you were loyal to my father, and I would hope you would be the same to me. I know that having a Female Alpha Queen is new and might sound ridiculous, but as I told you that night. I have been running this kingdom since I was 16 years old. If you want proof I will find you the proof; my point is I am perfectly capable of running this by myself. I won't have to now that I have Alaric by my side. But even if he wasn't I would be fine. I want you all to trust in me as the Queen, as the ruler of this Kingdom that I have nothing but the best interest at heart."

Once she was done speaking the councilman all looked released that their titles will not be stripped from them.

"We have all faith in you, your majesty. We are truly sorry for letting Caleb fill our minds with how you were unfit to be a ruler. We could use a strong female role in the kingdom. Ever since your mother's passing, we've been needing a woman like you back in the castle," Jaffar smiled slightly bowing his head softly into submission.

"I appreciate it, now there is more we need to talk about. A war is coming. A big one," She spoke, sitting up a little taller. All of the men in the room stopped doing whatever they were doing for a second before turning to the Queen with wide eyes.

"I was attacked in King Alaric's kingdom, obviously I am fine, but before the man was killed he said there is a war brewing between Lycan's and Werewolves against the Witches and the Rogues. Now me and king Alaric have been talking over many many battle strategies and we have a good chance, but we need man power. I was thinking earlier maybe we can ask the vampires to join in this war?," She asked looking around the room. She felt Alaric tense slightly behind her, at the mention of the vampires.
