Both men had been drinking for a bit now.

Trevor looked up upon the starlit sky, pondering for a moment.

It had to be at least midnight.

"You know..."

Alucard began, his voice prominent in the silence.

Trevor glanced over.

"...I keep finding myself wishing I could just be a child once more."

He mumbled, remembering how he'd sneak into his fathers study, the soft tired smiles his father had once given him.

The warmth of his mother as she held him and stared lovingly at his father.

How he'd climb into his fathers lap as he sat upon his throne, the man responding with a half-hearted chuckle.

How he wished to be small again.

To feel his mothers warmth.

To see his father smile once more.

The liquor had been working its magic like trevor had wanted it to.

Hot tears were streaming down the Dhampir's face.

Alucard angrily turned away from the hunter, hating himself for showing such weakness.

"I am...Alone."

Alucard felt a hand grip his upper arm, wrapping across his back forcing him in a warm shoulder with a familiar looking crest upon it.

"You are not Alone."

Trevor began.

"I understand though I do not agree with what he did. It was wrong. But you still knew him as your father. He was the man that raised you. It is alright to mourn him."

Trevor mumbled, keeping an arm at Alucard's shoulders.

"It is alright to regret and to wish it never happened. To be angry with God."

"I was never one for god anyways."

Alucard mumbled in defeat.

"Neither am I."

Trevor chuckled breathlessly.

With a shuddering breath Alucard held up the bottle, leaning away from Trevor to take a sip.

"I probably look a fucking mess."

Alucard scoffed quietly into his hand.

"A really bad mess if a Belmont is offering me his shoulder to cry upon."

Trevor took a swig.

"I've always been a fucking mess-"

The hunter responded, wrapping an arm around the Dhampir again.

"-So lets be a merry band of fucking messes together, hm?"

He cheered making Alucard crack a smile.

"Your a fucktard, Belmont."

He muttered, taking another sip.

"And your a complete and utter asshole, Alucard."

Trevor replied.

"Don't drink it all now, or Sypha will be dragging our hungover asses behind the wagon as punishment."

"For a speaker she sure believes in capital punishment."

Alucard hummed, unconsciously leaning into the hunter.

"So it seems..."

Trevor mumbled, before noticing Alucards weight felt much heavier.

Rolling his eyes, Trevor mumbled.

"Of course the asshole falls asleep on me."
