This wednesday, things ran normal. But who knew, a sudden announcement, can turn someone upside down.
"So any plans for this afternoon?" Rose asked her friends.
"My parents are gonna come over for dinner. They're not around much so this will be exiting." Hawk announced.
"Wow Hawk, I wish my parents would spend time with me like that, I barely see them." Ling ling commented.
"Well, my mom is always busy, so is my grandma. Oh well, I guess I'm gonna be flipping pages this afternoon, again." Astoria said.
CHAT MODE
Rose: Aw, I wish I could hang out with you but my mom said she'd make pumpkin pie for dinner.
Travis: And its game night tonight for me. Sorry, maybe I can call Shawn? He's not doing anything this afternoon.
Astoria: Sh-shawn!? No no, its fine guys really, I'm used to spending time alone.
Joy: But its so sad, no one deserves to be alone.
Astoria: I'm not alone, I have you guys!
Rose: Aww, group hug!
All: *hug* uwu. (and it lasted for a solid 7 secs)
Rose: Hey Astoria, I'm wondering, we're all gonna spend some time with our parents, maybe except Ling ling, anndd your mom is busy, why dont you just spend time with your dad? I've never seen your dad, or hear you talk about him.
All ex Rose and Astoria: ⊙_⊙ *doing the "cut that out" motion*
Astoria: Uhh, well............
Joy: Oh hey! Hehe, look at the time, we better head for lunch!
Hawk: Yep! Don't wanna miss lunch now right?
STORY MODE
When the question about Astoria's father popped out, her friends tried the best they could to keep the conversation from happening.
Usually, if Astoria talks about her dad, the next day wont exactly be a good one. Its either she's a raging ball of anger, or she becomes so depressed she wont say a word. But sometimes things go fine, and its like Astoria moves on like nothing happened, but thats not very likely to to happen, because that has never happened.
"Oh your right, wanna head to the cafeteria?" Rose asked. "Sounds good" Astoria agreed, they left their hang out spot and headed to the cafeteria.
While walking, Hawk walked beside Rose. And it wasn't just to look at her, it was also to give her a little explanation.
"Hey Rose" Hawk whispered to her.
"Yeah Hawk?"
CHAT MODE
Hawk: don't ask about Astoria's dad. Especially to Astoria.
Rose: Why?
Hawk: Well the reason why you've never seen him before is beacause....
Rose: No way, is he..... What I think he is?
(they were whispering btw)
Hawk: We're not for sure. All Astoria managed to tell us is that he hasn't come home in a long time. And that he left her and the family when she was 7 years old. Sadly, that's all she told us.
Rose: Poor Astoria, don't worry, I wont say a word.

They reached the cafeteria, got their foods, and sat at the table.
