"I need an explanation from you too, Sachiko." Rin said without looking away from his brother. I looked at the two before sitting down in Rin's seat.

"You heard the man, start talking." A voice said. I turned my head to where the voice came from. I looked at the seat beside me.

"Mephisto!? What are you doing here!?" I burst suddenly. He was here the whole damn time. Of course, that pissed me off.

"Wait, you know Mephisto as well? What the hell!" Rin boomed, "literally everyone I know was lying to me! What did you know I was Satan's son as well?"

My mouth was agape. He never yelled at me before. I clenched my fists and looked away from him. That hurt more than I wanted to admit; it was just another sign that we weren't friends anymore.

"Of course she knows me. How else would she have gotten here? I am her guardian figure." Mephisto said from his place.

Rin scowled at Mephisto and turned back to Yukio. "C'mon Yukio, I need to know."

"Well as I said, I started exorcism training when I was seven. You were the demon that gave me my temptaint." Yukio said, pushing his glasses up onto the bridge of his nose.

I winced. That had to have upset Rin. He'd never in a million years hurt Yukio on purpose but to know he's the one that bestowed a wound on his younger brother, resulting in the ability to see the "awful" creatures... I can't imagine what he's thinking right now. All I can see is how tense he is.

Smash

I looked at the twins. They were looking at something on the floor. It took me a moment to register that the glass vial had the rotting animal blood in it. I wrinkled my nose in disgust.

"That stuff stinks." Rin and I said at the same time. He had his hand over his nose and mouth.

Our eyes met before he sent me a scowl, and turned back to Yukio. I stuck my tongue out. Childish, I know, but I didn't block him out; he blocked me out and now he's acting as if it was all my fault.

"I see someone is holding a grudge against you." Mephisto chuckled from beside me.

I huffed with irritation, "he shouldn't. If anyone should be holding a grudge, it's me!"

"Yes, but don't you think you should help. I mean, you do have a gift that could help them easily with the upcoming demons." Mephisto said with doggy grin.

I pushed him off the bench. He was such a pain! Sometimes I wondered who really was the child out of us. But, to my dissatisfaction, he had a point... With my "Demon Control" - that's what we called it - the gathering hobgoblins would leave in no time. I didn't want them knowing about it though.

"Rin, you and Sachiko should go out into the hall. The demons should be here soon. I can handle it." Yukio said as he pulled out two guns.

I bit my lip, Yukio may have been a good exorcist, but he was no match for bloodthirsty goblins. I needed to decide now.

That's all for now! Thank you for reading. Till next time, さよなら!
