Chapter 1 A Strange Start

Amulet's POV

"Alright class, there are two new students and if they would like to may they stand up and introduce themselves?" I gulp as Mr. Spike says those words i have heard many times before. As in the past my mom has moved a lot since my dad left because of her work but her boss said she most likely will stay here in Teton.

I stood up. As I did i saw another kid stand up. He was wearing a chicken hoodie and he wore a blindfold and also having dark chocolate brown hair. Then he started, "Hello I'm Sabre and I'm one of the new kids! I hope I have a good time and make friends here at Teton High!" Then most eyes shifted to me, " uhh... h-h-hi i-i'm am-mulet, and I hope I can f-f-fit i-in!"

Rain's POV
The girl next to me stuttered like crazy! As she sat down "hey are you ok?" I asked her. "If you count Social Anxiety hating me to the point i stutter like i have a crush on the room as me being ok, then yes." She said sounding defeated. "Ahem, Rainbow Steve would you like to show the new students around?" Mr. Spike asked politely. "Sure i'd love to!" I quickly replied.

As I showed them the art room as the last stop "any questions?" I nicely ask. "Nope! But thank you for being so kind!" Amulet energetically replied. The Sabre kid quietly replied "I'm fine"

Amulet quickly asked worried " hey are you ok? I'm here if you need someone! Like a friend to hug and protect that will have your back and stuff!" He replied "sorry my boyfriend j-just broke up with me" I say "hey it's ok my best friend had just moved away" amulet said sounding joyful "wow this got dark real fast!" I agreed "heh ya your right"

Time Skip To lunch
Amulet's POV
Earlier Rainbow invited me to sit with him and his friends during science, even though I wanted to focus I decided to accept his invitation! As I walk over to a big table I see a LOT of steves I sit next to rainbow and he happily Says "Oh! Hey guys this is Amulet! Amulet This is Galaxy
, Blue, Green, Light, Silver, Time aka galaxy's younger brother, And last but not least Alex!" I shyly reply "uhh.. h-hi I'm Amulet." I blush even though I have no crush there. "Heh oh it's another loser" a raspy voice says behind me. "Hey!" I turn to say to a hooded figure "back off! Cause i'm not a mirror!" I reply angered "oh i'm soo scared!" He said sarcastically. "Ugh, why do idiots exist?" I reply. As I get angrier my eyes darken and I feel like i'm about to legit KILL someone! "aww what is a little girl gonna do?" He taunted. My hair magically darkens from silver to black and my outfit changes from my light purple crop top and jeans to a long dark purple dress. "Don't. Fuck. With. Me." I'd say demonically with warning and I slowly change back and blush as I sit down embarrassed. At this point I probably look like a red steve if there skin was red. Rainbow seemed to find his words "THAT. WAS. AWSOME!" He said excitedly.....

Time skip, After school!

Rainbow's POV
       At lunch I got Amulet's number! Finally I have a friend with a more modern phone!

R-Hey Am!
A-Oh hey Rain!
R-Hey Can me and galaxy come over for a slumber party?
A-i'll have to ask meh protective mom though!
R-okie!
Ten Minutes Later
A-I got here to say yes!

       I happily run to the door to see my new good friends! "Oh hey guys!" I happily let them in. "wow your house is so cool!!" Galaxy said, yet when I turned to rainbow he was blushing while looking at galaxy. I smile evilly. I giggle as I lead them to my room. And when we get there they were greeted by a wall of drawing and a few posters of Panic! At The Disco. I said " welcome I have been expecting you." I say creepily
When dinner is ready (shit is about to happen)
"Amulet~! And her friends~! Dinner is ready!" As I hear that I run so fast that I trip and then. Pain then the black hits me.
