Amulet's POV As I heard voices through my earbuds and music I pressed pause. When I walked out I was thinking 'HOLYYYYY SHIIITTTTT!!' But I ended up saying "oh hey i'm guessing you two are our dorm mates?" The hooded guy replied "oh! Uhh. Yea, i'm Void Steve and This is Rainbow Steve and you can just call me void!" He said it nicely yet his voice was low and spooky! The guy with a rainbow hoodie said in his semi boyish/girlish voice "by the way you can just call me rain!" He said it in a sweet innocent voice. They seemed nice in my personal opinion! I asked "Hey do you guys want to play truth or dare?" Void said immediately "Nope, nope and, nope!" Rain teased him "are you a chicken void?~" "n-no" he sounded spooked after a little bit of chatting a guy wearing a galaxy hoodie walked in "Sorry i'm late!" He said in a more regular voice than rain and void's "oh its fine galaxy!" Rain replied as they started to chat I felt to crowded so I went to my room and unpacked as I listened to some edgy music although, I don't like wearing black and like skulls so much. As I finished Putting stuff where I want it I start to sort my drawing and pictures and posters. I set up my posters and I actually feel at home! And I end up starting to draw Void, Galaxy, Rain, me, and Sabre.
Time Skip to Dinner!
As I finish with shading I look at my drawing in awe as I set it down and I use my spiny chair to roll over to my laptop. I start to watch funny videos when I hear sabre yell "I'm finally done with dinner!!" I jog over and sit. As everyone chats I feel a little left out, yet I really don't mind! I like to be alone! As I keep eating I tell sabre it's good he doesn't seem to hear me so I just get out of my chair and clean the plate and put it in the strainer and walk off to my room. As sad as I am I brush it off and text my mom and she sent me a funny joke and I feel much better. As I slipped in my pj's and put in my earbuds i'd drift off knowing how friends never last long...
Rain's POV I hear Amulet compliment Sabre on his good food I saw her look sad and then finish clean her plate and walk off. I followed her but the time I'd walk in she was asleep. I feel really bad for her as I've never felt that pain but I know what she feels. I am an empath after all!
