"Rise and shine gorgeous!" Oliver yelled, clearly far too excited for how early it was. Across the room Arabella mumbled incoherently and rolled herself further into her blankets. "No way. You have to wake up! It's time for your first day of training!" Oliver said while ripping Arabella's blanket from her bed and consequently tossing Arabella off with it.

"Who even said that I wanted to go to training?" Arabella demanded, finally forcing her eyes open to glare directly into Oliver's eyes.

Smiling smugly he responded, " Well, if that's how you feel I'll just leave you here to sleep."

Scowling into the back of his head Arabella finally said, " Fine."

Oliver turned back around smiling, and Arabella couldn't help but feel that she had made a very big mistake. After freshening up as well as she could seeing as she only had the clothes she was still wearing and whatever Oliver lent her she followed her new roommate towards a large field that was visible from the barracks. Not before securing her knife to her side.

Once arriving there Arabella was relieved to see James who added up to two familiar faces in a sea of werewolves. Most of the wolves near her moved away just slightly from where she was standing, some glancing not so discreetly at the blade that she held at her side. After James had successfully gotten the attention of everyone on the field he explained what everyone would be doing together as warmups before splitting into groups based on ability.

Stretch by yourself for two minutes

Run three laps around the entire field

Twenty-five push-ups, squats, and a one minute plank

'It can't be that hard' Arabella reasoned, and was just about to begin stretching when she was approached by James.

"Arabella!" He exclaimed, clearly as much of a morning person as Oliver, " I'm so glad you were able to make it this morning!"

"I wasn't exactly given very much of a choice." Arabella answered with clear distaste towards how and who she was woken up by.

"All the same." James shrugged it off nonchalantly. "I have some cut down warm-ups that you can do-"

"Actually, gamma, I was thinking I'd just try what everyone else was doing. And then if it's too much I'll cut back." Arabella interjected, not liking the idea that she be separated from the group because she was human, even if they were more physically capable.

After a moment's consideration James relented, " Alright, but if you ever think it's too much you can always back down."

Arabella smiled slightly and ran off the where the werewolves were preparing to begin running, stretching completely forgotten as she prepared to pace herself around the field. Even after the wolves started running she had at least thirty seconds before she was able to start moving due to the amount of wolves trying to run the same track.

When she finally began moving she realised that the werewolves who had been at the front were already halfway around the field. She maintained a steady pace, passing some of the wolves that were clearly incredibly unmotivated until she found the middle of the group where she began to pace herself so she could finish the laps.

After the first lap she was thoroughly winded. After the second lap her legs began to shake and occasionally give out. After the third lap she saw black dots on the edges of her vision. But throughout the whole thing she felt James' eyes on her.

Shrugging off her exhaustion she followed the hoard of wolves to the middle of the field where she began her push ups. Glad to give her legs a break Arabella paid no heed to where any of the other wolves were in their pushups. But as she finished she wished she had, as her arms ached she was surprised to see that she was among the first ten werewolves finished. She had always had quite a bit of upper body strength, but this was almost surreal. Werewolves were created to be bigger, stronger, and faster than humans in every aspect.
