Disappointment
"Edward Anthony Masen Cullen! I am severely disappointed in you, do you even understand what you have done?!"
"Not only did you gather the attention of the Volturi, but also implicated your family. And for what? A human girl that you've barely met?"
"I thought you were smarter than that, Carlisle and Esme, you let him have his way far too many times and let him off easily instead of properly disciplining him."
"You treat them like teenagers so they subconsciously act like teenagers no matter how many years have passed. My children act like teenagers because their mates act like teenagers. After their graduation, they will join me to work at my company or go to college and get another degree towards a profession they would like to do for the next 30 years before we "start over" again and move to another place."
"Making them go through highschool over and over again? What's the point? Technology is on the rise and their looks will be compared to their past identities and people will become suspicious anyways."
Valerie took a deep unnecessary breath. Carlisle and Esme looked a bit ashamed for failing to properly discipline their children like the younger vampire had pointed out. Edward on the other hand was embarrassed at being scolded and compared to for misbehavior.
"I'm not finished scolding you Edward, " She said, making the vampire flinch at the call-out.
"Your family has been avoiding the Volturi's attention for YEARS and what did you do? You bloody walked up to their doorsteps and ratted out your family gifts! Do you understand how hard your parents, especially your father, tried to hide your gifts from them?"
"Years of effort to protect you from them and yet you ruin it by your own hands. Aro clearly wasn't up to date with the Olympic Coven. Until your dumbass decided to commit suicide because your blood singer supposedly "died", you've got to be kidding me"
"–She's just your fucking personal bag of heroin not your True mate you stupid wanker!", she screamed into his face while he cowered under her more than displeased glare.
Oh she wasn't done just yet.
"And don't think I've forgotten about you", she pointed at Alice who cowered under her aunt's wrath.
"You little missy need to WOMAN THE FRICK UP AND TELL EDWARD YOUR HIS TRUE MATE! SO HE CAN STOP BEING A BLIND DUMBASS!", Valerie huffed and still agitated.
"What?", everyone who didn't know gasped.
"Ahem, as I was saying." She moved on quickly, realizing she shouldn't have said that in her moment of anger.
"Awkwardddd..." Emmett murmured under his breath though everyone heard it clearly with their heightened senses.
"Forget it. As of tomorrow, Lillian and I will be staying in Forks until this Bella situation is fulfilled either by her turning or death", Valerie announced quickly changing the subject, making Edward growl at the thought of Bella being damned for eternity or her dying; though rather curious about him being with Alice.
In the corner of his eye he glanced at Alice who smiled brightly back at him.
At that moment he actually took the time to LOOK at her, when she first arrived with Jasper he thought she was rather attractive but with her being mates with Jasper he immediately shot those thoughts down.
But now with Jasper being with someone else, Edward let his eyes casually run over her form. He had to admit she was rather beautiful, bright, and charming.
Comparing Bella to Alice he couldn't help but to feel that Bella was lacking.
Was his aunt right all along? That he was just drawn to her blood. Confusing bloodlust and intoxication with Love?
Was he wrong?
Edward didn't know what to think, he needed time to think. Bella or Alice? He didn't know who to choose.

A moving truck made its way to the supposedly quiet and peaceful town of Forks. The said owner shocked everyone, it was apparently the mother of Jasper and Rosalie Hale, the two blonde children the Cullens generously took care of.

Driving away Valerie sighed in relief noticing the moving truck in the driveway.
Looking in her rear view mirror she noticed a certain Swan staring at them in shock.
'Good the little Swan knows she's being watched'. Valerie grinned.
Oh she could be so cruel sometimes.
Smiling, she greeted her neighbors.
"Hello we're your new neighbors I'm Valerie Hale and this is my ward Lillian!", she smiled at the dark haired man who smiled back at her.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Ma'am, I'm Charlie Swan and this is my beautiful daughter Isabella", Charlie greeted his new neighbor.
"It's Bella", Bella interrupted staring at the woman slightly terrified.
The woman's red painted lip pulled into a wide grin showing her bright white and slightly sharp teeth.
"It's nice to meet you Bella, I hope we can get to know each other better", she said still grinning at the nervous looking teen.
