"Baby I'm home." "sweetie, we have a little problem." "what is it?" Natalie explained that if they don't pay the rent by midnight of Christmas Day they'll have to move out. "I'll figure out something, ok babe?" "Alright Charlie, please hurry, it's Christmas Eve." Charlie tried everything he could to earn money, all he got was a dollar that was under the lottery machine. "wait, I could use this dollar to get more money." Charlie entered the dollar into the machine and picked a lottery ticket, when he got it he rushed to his car, found a quarter, and started scratching "aw man, I only got 25 dollars." Charlie went inside the store and got 25 dollars from the clerk. he then rushed home to check on Natalie.
"Hey baby, have you seen my toothbrush?" "I should be next to mine, check around the sink." "I did, it's not there." "then use mine, it's pretty much the same as yours." Charlie brushed his teeth and they both went to sleep. Charlie woke up at 6:59 later by Natalie, Natalie whispers "I think someone just broke in Charlie." Charlie grabs a bat from the closet and took a few steps down the stairs, he peeked and saw three robbers grabbing their things and presents, he walked back quickly, causing a stair to squeak "go check up there." a robber says, another robber walks up the stairs and opens their bedroom door, no one was there, the robber walks inside and BAM! Charlie wacks him with the bat on his head, the guy fell, alerting the other two robbers, they then start climbing the stairs, one with a knife. "I'll go in, you stay just in case." the robber comes in and closes the door, locking it. he looks everywhere and then in the closet, when he opens the closet Charlie pounces on him, punching him in the face, unfortunately the robber was tough, so he gets on top of Charlie and punches him in the face, Charlie bites his neck but gives up, the other robber trying to get in. Natalie looks in terror "N-Natalie, stay in there." Natalie didn't want to watch her boyfriend die on Christmas Day, so she ran out and hit the guy in the head with a bat, but the guy had a thick skull, he slowly turned around, following her and trapping her in a corner. the other robber opened the door and quickly threw the knife, the knife stuck on the other robbers head, causing him to pass out, not die. Charlie got up and kicked the other robber outside his door, making him fly down the stairs. "are you alright baby?" "Im fine, what about you?" "Eh, I'm kinda bleeding from my nose and head but that's ok, I can stop it." They kiss, then the doorbell rings, they both go downstairs and see the rental guys. "hello." the man clears his throat "hi, we are here to receive the pay for the rent, or else your house will be taken away."
