Charlie walks into the pet store, Mr. Walsh coughing his lungs out "are you ok Mr. Walsh?" I'm fine Charlie, don't worry about me, go do your job, oh yes, I'll raise your paycheck by 50 dollars." "f-fifty dollars, so that means I'll get 250 dollars now?" "Yes, isn't that swell? Now go do your job, your earned this raise." "Thank you Mr. Walsh, I won't let you down! This is it, I'm gonna get that ring!"
Charlie worked hard that day, and in return Mr. Walsh gave him 250 dollars, tomorrow he'll give him another 250 dollars which will make 500 dollars.
"Mr. Walsh I'm....um, Mr. Walsh? Are you here?" Charlie looked all over the place, he was nowhere to be seen, how can he earn that much money now? And he thought about it, Natalie earns 50 dollars everyday, maybe he could ask her.
"Natalie, I gotta ask you a favor." "w-what is it Charlie?" "Um.....heh...can I borrow 500 dollars?" Natalie stared blankly at him "why?" "Um, b-because I want to help out children and I promise I'll give you something in return, something that you'll have forever." Natalie reaches for her wallet and gives Charlie 500 dollars "it better be good what your giving me babe." "thanks so much baby, I promise you'll love it!"
Charlie headed to the nearest ring store to buy a ring. "hello, may I buy that ring please?" Charlie points at the ring "I'm sorry mister, but it's on hold, are you Charlie Day?" "Yes sir, I put it on hold." "oh yes yes yes, I'll "ring" it up for you mister." the man laughs at his own joke, he grabs the ring and does stuff on his computer "that'll be 500,000 dollars." "here you go!" He gives all his hard earned money to the man, the man puts the money in the register, grabs a black box, and puts the ring inside and gives it to Charlie "here you go sir, Merry Christmas and if she says yes, congratulations." "Merry Christmas to you too sir and thanks." Charlie drives happily back to his home.
