Chapter 12

Monday 10:56 p.m.

Yui POV

After showing my weakness to Jiraiya, my brain was fighting each other. The path that I always followed, I didn't accomplish it. Meaning if I want no weakness, I would have to kill my team along with my father.

'You won't do it.' One part of my brain tells me.

'Then what's the point of all those practices and killing? Just kill your team and your dad.' Another part of my brain tells me.

It is true. All that practice, painful injuries & experiences, and all that bloodshed would be for nothing.

But, I also wanted to get stronger to protect my dad in the future. Only him. That's what I thought though. Now, I want to protect my team too.

"Shut up." I said aloud. My head was killing me.

If anyone was here, they would probably look at me weird.

Looking up at the stars, I decided that if I was going to choose between those two paths, I should apologize to the Hokage first.

Hokage POV

I was about to leave after all those paperwork and meetings but I heard a knock.

"Come in." I sighed.

'For once, can I not go home?' I imagined my bed and pillow, and sighed again.

Surprisingly, it was Yui.

"If you are wondering if there is any mission, there isn't." I stated.

Yui still had an emotionless face, "No, I wanted to apologize."

I smiled, "You are forgiven."

"But..." Yui started.

"Hm?" I questioned.

"Before I make up my decision, I will not tolerate any negative comments on my team. I know she is inexperienced unlike me, and my actions toward her was wrong." She explained.

I thought for awhile, and understood her explanation.

"But if you are going to put me in that group again, please inform them not to say negative comment or else next time I might not hold back."

"Very well. I understand that and I do agree with you that Sakura shouldn't have said that." I explained smiling.

She nodded, "And actually you do have a mission." I handed her a S-rank mission.

"I thought you said there was no mission?" Yui asked.

"Because I was mad, but now you apologized." I smiled.

Yui POV

'He's childish....' I thought but nodded and got the file.

I left and scanned through and saw that this might take some time.
