Luke turns around and I see that as a chance to rip my bike out of his hands and leave.
But my plan doesn't work and Luke gives me an warning look.
"Hi Megan! Ah that's why it took Luke so long." FInn grins.
"What do you mean?" I look at Luke who gives me a simple shrug.
Finn comes walking towards us with a couple of books in his hands.
"Well Luke was supposed to get food out of his locker but it took him quite a while. But I'm going upstairs again. Gues I'll see you later then Luke?" And Finn turns around.
"Finn wait! Luke was with you?"
"Uh yeah? We're sitting upstairs, you're allowed to sit with us ofcourse if you want?"
I shake my head no and Finn gives me a nod before walking away.
I can feel Luke already staring at me.
"Megan, I really want you to explain right now. What were you talking about?"
I sigh and look at the ground while Luke grabs my bike and puts it back.
He wipes the remaining tears of my cheeks and pulls me to his chest.
"C'mon tell me."
I tell him everything what went on this morning and seeing the couples standing outside during the break.
Luke sighs. "I was with you yesterday and you know where I was during lunch so I don't know where she's talking about but nothing is going on between her and me. Besides I would never do such a thing!"
He tilts my chin with one finger and looks at me.
"I know but I thought.."
"I get it Meg, she is just trying to fool you." Luke presses a kiss to my forehead.
"I'm sorry Luke." And I stand on my toes to give him a kiss.

The week flies by and before I knew it, it's Friday and I drag myself out of bed for my last day at my intership.
When I'm at the dinner table, I get a text from my companion.
It's okay if your a little later today! Be here around 8.30 alright?
Normally I'm there around 8 but maybe it's because it's my last day.
When I'm done, I quickly brush my teeth and grab my bags with the gifts for the kids.

The day goes by very quick and all the kids are heading home. Suddenly my phone buzzes.
Hey Megan, have you talked to Harry yet?
