The next day at school Sana was strolling around here and there during the lunch break and looking through all the messages she had got from unknown guys on her social media. She sat down at one of the benches and deleting them when she heard noises coming from the area where the lunch was being served. She hurriedly moved there and saw everyone talking shits and throwing food at someone
“Look at the bummie”
“What does he think he was doing?”
“Gods knows!”
“Yah! Im Jaebeom right?! What do you think you were doing with my girlfriend, huh?!” exclaimed Kai who is supposed to be Jennie’s boyfriend
“Hey! Kai calm down he has not done anything bad he helped me to get up since I just fell down and hurt myself” Jennie explained
“But, how could this idiotic nerd just touch someone like you. Especially my girlfriend.” said Kai angrily and pulled jaebeom up by his collar as Jaebeom got free from his grips
“How dare you?!” Kai said and was about to hit him
“How dare you?!” Sana came in the scene and stood beside jaebeom
“And about you’ll, food is just received in abundance to you’ll right? If you’ll don’t want to have then just give it to the beggars at least they can have a whole some of food” she splatted at everyone angrily
“What’s wrong with you Sana?” asked Kai while moving closer to Sana and continued “Sana are you standing up for this ‘nerd’ he doesn’t deserve it”
“Listen to the truth and not judge him because he is, in your word, a 'nerd', because he didn’t do anything wrong and on top of that you are just blaming him continuously” Sana spat out like her inner anger was showing and no one dared to speak. Kai was going speak something but just then the teachers came in as they have been hearing noises.
The students made their way back to the classroom. Then Jaebeom was even sent to the nurse’s room with the permission of the teachers.
Sana went after a while to let the teachers' leave first. Then she went inside and asked “are you okay?”
“Yeah” answered Jaebeom looking down
Sana moved towards him as jaebeom was cleaning the food in his hair. Sana tried to help him but he pushed her hand away.
“You don’t have too”
“But I want to.”
Sana picked the crumbs from Jaebeom’s hair gently. Jaebum sat there quietly not saying a word. Sana noticed how soft his hair was, even though food was thrown all over him his hair remained nice and soft. She couldn’t help wanting to run her fingers through them, but then heard a soft sniffle sound come from jaebeom.
Before she could comprehend on asking what happened, Jaebeom’s head leaned against her stomach and she felt Jaebeom’s arms come around her waist as he held on to her tightly, his hands grabbing the back of her uniform jacket as he cried.
