A Promise

CHAPTER 14

The next day, it was Jimin's last day of rehearsals as the ceremony was just in 2 days and they just needed a day off for rest after today.

Jimin was also excited because being the day off so he could spend it with the younger to compensate for the birthday.

What Jimin didn't know was that Taehyung had landed already and was going to surprise Jimin after practice.

Taehyung was eagerly waiting for the purple head outside, but it had already been 15 minutes and he hasn't come outside so he decided to check.

He sneaked inside to take a look at the purple head but was devastated at what he saw, a guy was carrying Jimin in his arms and the purple head was smiling at the other, even giggling.
He couldn't see the guy but he could see Jimin, and as beautiful he looked, it just broke his heart to see the older intimate with someone else like that.

Taehyung almost ran out of the studio and back to his car but he didn't leave, he texted Jimin and waited for the purple head.

The text was nothing cute not rude. It was simple with no emoji.. Nothing..

I'm waiting outside in my car.

Even though he knew that Jimin's not his, he has no right to be jealous and even if he thinks that the older might have some feelings for him, he really can't say it for sure.

Taehyung got no reply from the older but then after 5 minutes he saw the purple head rushing out with and excited and happy expression trying to look for Taehyung's car.

Taehyung got out for Jimin to spot him, which he did.
But as Jimin was expecting a hug or even a mere Hi from the younger, he got none, he felt weird.
He thought he would finally be able to spend younger's birthday with him even though he was beyond tired.

As soon as Jimin came near Taehyung, the younger went inside his car. Jimin felt a little odd but he didn't say anything. Taehyung started the car.

Jimin, who was expecting any sort of conversation happening between the two was now beyond worried , he had missed the younger awful much and the younger wasn't even looking at him.

It made him feel ignored.

He had expected Taehyung to call him by his nickname or tease him about the fact that he had almost yelled at Taehyung yesterday for not replying saying that he misses him or how his trip was. Anything.

But nothing came.

It felt like the longest drive. By this point his heart was breaking, he didn't know what happened and why is the younger suddenly acting this way. He didn't know if he's done something wrong, or if something has happened to Taehyung, but it was making him crazy to think about the younger ignoring him.

A very familiar fear made its way into Jimin. His heart was beating fast in a way that makes you suffocated, a very uneasy feeling, he just didn't know what happened.

He felt weak.

They reached in front of Jimin's apartment and Jimin got out. He saw Taehyung was about to start the car when he said or shouted almost desperately.

"Come inside.. Hyung is not home!"

Taehyung didn't say anything and came out of the car, walking past Jimin and standing in front of the door.
Jimin came from the back, opened the apartment and went inside and Taehyung still walked past him but Jimin caught his jacket between his right hand's thumb and index finger, he was on the verge of crying.
