Chapter 6

Clary POV

We drove up to Magnus's house and Alec ran out.

"Ready?"I asked.

"Yeah."he answered.
AT TAKIS

"Hey Izzy."I said as we walked over.

"Hey guys."She answered.

"You guys wanted to usual right?"She asked Alec and Jace.

"Yeah."they answered.

"Clary I got you pancakes and a chocolate milkshake. Is that okay?"She asked.

"Yeah."I answered.

We sat for awhile waiting for are food.

"Hey Izzy, will you walk to the bathroom with me?"I asked.

"Yeah."She answered.

"I will never understand the reason why girls have to have a buddy just to go to the bathroom."Jace said.

"I for one don't want to be attacked by a troll."I said.

"A troll?"Alec asked.

"Yeah.Little green trolls run around in the bathroom and attack only girls who don't have a bathroom buddy.Duh!"Isabelle said.

We walked into the bathroom and I told her what Jace said.

"Are you serious! You're giving him another chance?!"She yelled.

"I told him he had to win me over."

"Clary!We have to make it hard for him!Okay?"

"Oh of course Izzy!We're going to have lots of fun with him!"

When we walked back out,the waitress was standing at the table.She was flirting with Jace. He looked over and smiled at me.

"Let's start are fun now."I whispered to Izzy.

"Alec,will you sit by me?"She asked.

"Yeah I guess."he said.

"I guess that leaves by Jace.Oh well."I said,with a mock frown on my face.

I scooted close enough to Jace that I was invading his personal space but far enough that we weren't touching. He reached over and casually later his hand on my knee.I kicked Izzy under the table and she smiled. I turned to Jace and leaned in.He leaned in too and I smacked him.

"I did say I was hard to get didn't I?"I asked,planting a smirk on my face.

Then I scooted over and finished eating.
Back at the Institute

"Nice job!"Izzy said as we walked up to her room.

"Thanks.Just wait until later."I said.

"Please don't kill him!"

"Oh I won't."

"Good."

I walked to my room and layed down on the bed.
Knock Knock

"Come in!"I yelled

"Its me."Jace said.

"Oh.Hi."

"I wanted to ask if you wanted to go to the park.With me."

"Yeah.That would be fun.Are Izzy and Alec coming as well?"

"I don't know.I'll ask."

"I'll meet you guys downstairs in a hour,okay?"

"Yeah."

He walked out and I decided I was going to change.It was really cold outside for a mid-fall day,so I pulled on some electric blue jeggings,a black long-sleave shirt,a scarf that is the same color as my pants and has owls on it.I pulled my knee-high boots.I Straitened my hair.Put some makeup on.And headed downstairs. Izzy had on leggings, boots,and a sweater-dress on.Alec and Jace had jeans and t-shirts on.

"Simon is meeting us there."Izzy said.

"Okay."I said.

"Magnus is too."Alec said.

"Cool."I said.

At the park

We arrived at the park and saw Simon and Magnus talking.

"Hey guys!"I yelled.

"Hey!"they yelled back.

Simon ran over to Izzy and picked her up and spun her around.Magnus walked over to Alec and grabbed his hand.I walked a little ways off towards the swings.I heard someone following me .

"What do you need Jace?"

"Can I not walk with you?"

"I guess you can."

"Good because you can't make me go away."

"Yes I can."

"How?"

"Like this."

I walked over kissed him and ran off.After a couple seconds he came out of his daze.

"Not funny Clary!Where are you?"He yelled.

I came up behind him and tackled him to the ground.

"Right here."

"Clary,please?"

"Fine!But last chance!"

"Sereiously?"

"Yes."
