"I'm so nervous about my speech." I say to mama as I adjust my beret. "You'll be fine, dear." "I really hope so mama." Today is the day of open house and also the day I give my speech. "I hope it's good enough." I been working on this speech for a whole week with Hope that it'll be good enough to save my family's business.  "We need to hurry! We don't wanna be late!" Said mama.

I walk out into the cafe in my red dress to see a lot of customers. More than we usually have. I then turn my head to see Alejandro. Is he the one who got customers to come to our open house? I walk over to him as we lock eyes. "Are you the one who has all these customers coming here?" "Yes." He said. "I made flyers and handed them out to people." Their expecting a good speech from you. He handed me a sample flyer. "This looks great Alejandro!" I said excitedly. "But, I'm really worried about my speech." Alejandro pulled me closer to him. "Leti, I'm sure your speech will be great! You've been working on it for days." He said before brushing him lips over mine. I smiled. "Thanks, Alejandro." Before we knew it, the open house was about to begin. Mama took her place at the front and began speaking. "Welcome to our family's restaurant everyone. I would like to thank each and everyone of you for coming. This cafe has been with our family for over 15 years. Our family includes, me, my parents, and my children, Agnès, Arthur, and my Leticia." Mama continued. "Our earliest memories include the kids running around in the cafe and visiting all the customers at their tables. Unfortunately, my husband and my the kids" father passed away 5 years ago, but his legacy still stands in this restaurant. I know our restaurant isn't the best but it's all we have and we are more proud of it than ever. Now, I'll have my daughter, Leticia Triana, coming up to give a speech." Mama continued. The audience applauded as mama left the stage. I looked at Alejandro nervously. "You got this!" He said. I smiled. I walk up and took my place at the front of the stage. I began my speech.
