The Next night (Leti's final Day in Paris)

"I can tell believe is my last day in France." I said to myself as I prepared To leave the cafe. Alejandro invited me to one last date before I have to leave tonight.

As I walked back to the Eiffel towers, I was in a web of emotions. I felt happy that I'd made up with Alejandro. But, I felt said because I had to leave in less than 3 hours to go back to America. I decided to focus the night on having fun with Alejandro for the last time. When I reached the Eiffel towers, Alejandro was there with flowers and a guitar in his hand. There was also a picnic setup. "How Romantic." I said as I hugged him and pressed my head against his chest. He took my hand and we sat down. "Eclairs! My favorite!" I said as I took one and bit into it. Eclairs have been my favorite pasture since early childhood. As I ate, Alejandro handed me a bouquet of flowers and started to play me a song. He played my favorite song. "You and I, by John Legend" I smiled as he played his guitar like an angel.

After he finished the song, he began to say, "Leti, as sad as I am that your leaving. You will always hold a place in my heart even if your gone." He said sentimentally. I smiled with my mouth stuffed with Eclairs.

After the picnic, Alejandro and I were standing at the top of the Eiffel Tower admiring the beautiful sunset. I laid my head on his shoulder. "I don't want this to end." "Me neither, Leti." Alejandro softly kissed my lips. "I love you, Leti." "I love you too, Alejandro."

"Leti, could I give you something." Asked Alejandro. "Sure, what is it?" Alejandro kneeled down on his knees and pulled out a ring. It was by far the most beautiful diamond ring I had ever seen. "This is a promise ring. With this ring, you are promising your heart to me." He said. I smiled as I cried tears of joy. Alejandro placed the ring on my left hand finger. I jumped in his arms and gave him to biggest hug possible. I grabbed him by the shirt and pressed my lips against his.

I soon lost track of time. I checked my watch to find that I have to be at the airport in an hour. "Alejandro, I have to go." I said frowning. "That ok, I'll meet you at the airport." He said forcing a smile.
