F-Flowers?!

Double date

((I'm bad at writing dates and stuff so don't expect much.))

Maddison's POV

A few days have passed and tonight is when we are going to the restaurant. Deku was helping me choose some clothes, it's not really necessary but he seemed pretty determined on getting me to wear something fancy. He ended up settling on a shimmery long dress that reminded me of the night sky. I can't remember exactly where it was from but I was almost certain that my mum got it for me. Deku got a small white bag from somewhere and pulled out a flowery headband that matched the flowers on my face. He also brought a necklace out of the bag. It had a small grenade charm on it. I put them on and looked at myself. I can't remember the last time I dressed up like this.
" Hey, can I take a picture? "
" Hmmmm. . . "
" Please? Only one. "
" Fine, Deku. But only one. And you have to send it to me. "
" Yay! "
He took the picture and we started to head to the restaurant. We were a little late so I wouldn't be surprised if Kacchan and Todoroki are already there. We were greeted with an annoyed Bakugo and Todoroki moaning that we were late.
" Hey it's not my fault! Deku wanted to take a picture! "
" Then you should've told him to hurry the fuck up! "
" I did! "
We looked at each other for a second. I started to giggle, I just couldn't keep a straight face around him. We ended up just laughing at each other and Deku and Todoroki being really confused.

We entered the restaurant and were greeted with a nice worker who led us to our table. We started chatting about school and then things like that. We ordered food and got served soon after. A few people would look around at us, probably looking at my face or remembering us from the sports festival. It was kinda weird knowing that a random person is watching you when your trying to relax. Apart from that everything felt nice.

Todoroki had insisted that we go to a fancy restaurant and he was going to pay. Deku and I tried to speak with him.
" Hey how about we all split the bill? "
" Good idea Deku! "
Though I barely have any money on me.
" No, please. Let me pay, you don't have to worry. "
" But Todoroki- "
" No, Deku. I'm paying. "
" Just let icy hot pay and shut the fuck up. "
I felt flowers in my throat as I giggled at our conversation. I whispered across the table to Deku.
" Hey, Deku? "
" What do you need Maddie? "
" Where are the bathrooms? "
" I think they're- "
He gave me directions and I followed. I looked in the mirror. Tonight was going so well, and I looked so beautiful. These flowers had to mess it all up. I could feel them in my mouth and I moved into a stall and spat the petals and blood into the toilet. I coughed more, clumps of petals falling out my mouth, accompanied by a splash of blood. I was there for a few minutes before my coughing calmed down. I wiped the blood off my lips and finished up before heading back to the table. I sat back down and leaned over the table to Deku again.
" You feeling ok Maddie? "
" Yeah, probably hungry. "
I tried to shake of the feeling of uneasiness but it stayed, so I just ignored it. I was having a good time and this wouldn't ruin it. Our food came and I tried to eat but it made me feel worse. I got out my phone and put the camera on to looked at myself. I was slightly pale.

A few hours passed and we were getting ready to go, but I could feel a tickle in my throat. But it hurt. I needed to get home but there is no way I'm going to do that without coughing up any flowers before. I rushed to the bathrooms and into the stall. I started coughing. At first it was only a bit of blood and petals, but soon enough more blood was coughed up and clumps of petals again. My chest screamed at me. I coughed up a whole flower followed by two more and a rush of blood. This wasn't going to end well. A few more minutes passed of me coughing up whole flowers 70% of the time. Finally it stopped and I could leave. Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki were waiting for me outside the restaurant. I felt faint, like I could barely walk.
" What the fuck squid? What happened? "
" Yeah, Are you ok Maddie? "
" Do you need help? "
" N-no I sh-should be ok. . . I think. "
I stood still for a bit.
"Y-Yknow what? I don't feel good- "
I fell backwards and then I blacked out.

( There, that seems like a good place to end this chapter. (Not) And I really should go to sleep. It's like 2 in the morning for me and I have school in 6 hours. Anyway have a good day/night!
