1:17 am outside Parkview Apartments

After I saw my baby's snap I knew I had to zoom down and check everything out. I hop out my vehicle and start walking toward her door. I put my head next to the door to see if I can make out any noise but the apartment is completely quiet.

Bzzzzzz!!!!!

I look down and my iPhone and I see multiple missed call from my baby mother Dencia and a text that says call me now. Back when I was 15 I met her walking out of Starbucks. At the time she was just my type a curly haired lightskin with big lips. In the beginning it was all good until one night I really look at her face and realized she resembled a squirrel so I had to end things so I changed my number. Dencia eventually found my mother and one paternity test later I found out I'm the father of a child she had . Ive been paying her a couple racks a month to keep it quiet but lately she's been going out a lot with my son Rodrick and I'm sure a lot of people are starting to see the resemblance because he's my twin. I pick up my phone and call her back since my bae isn't at home and hasn't updated her snap I might as well kill some time.

"Chris where are you!! This is the third time this week you've canceled I have to pick up another shift at work and I need someone to watch William."She sounded out of breath on the phone so I'm assuming she's put on some weight since the last time I've seen her.

"Girl chill out with all that shit I am always there for my kid!" Normally I wouldn't give her any energy but Ashely's Snapchat has me on edge.

"Whatever just get here within 30 mins or I'll let you mom know you haven't been around." When she said that it was enough to get me to start heading to my car and put her address on my GPS. I let out a long sigh and started heading down there I can already tell it was going to be a long night.

When I reach the house I can already see I'm paying her way too much because her place is bigger than mine. I get out of my car and start walking to her door and before I can ring the doorbell my nose was immediately assaulted by a cheap Bath and Body spray. I look at my baby mother and she looks terrible she's at least a size 8 like if she had a big butt it wouldn't be an issue but she's shaped like a brick wall now. She made sure to apply her batwing fake eyelashes and I know in her mind she really thinks she's killing the game.

" Hey Deni where is he at." I start walking inside and I'm shocked because her place look actually nice I really gotta reduce the amount of money I'm giving her.

"Chris he's already in bed it's 1am I just need you to watch him until I get back from work around 12 o'clock tomorrow."I take a closer look at her and see she's already in her nurse uniform.

I head to a bedroom and see a sleeping lightskin child who looks around 4 years old . I walk over to him and give him a hug he looks so different now. I've completely forgotten his name I know it's not rodrick because his mom said something else on the phone so I feel like the best thing to do is call him buddy and pal until Dencia says his name again.

"Hey buddy it's me daddy I'm here to babysit you tonight." The child starts to shift in his sleep I hear a cough behind me and see Dencia with her palm out.

"Chris I'm gonna need some gas money to get to work. Also I need you to not wake him up until it's time for him to go to school. His school starts at 6:30am so you need to bathe, dress, and make him breakfast tomorrow. If you have any questions call or text." I pull out a $50 bill from my wallet and give it to her and she hands me her house key and she gives a sultry look but I quickly look away. I walk her to the front door so I can lock it and start turning on the lights in the home.

I wait until I hear her car and walk to the kitchen to get myself and snack and then start heading to the theater room to watch some movies. I would've done drugs but I stupidly left them at my place so I'll just watch Kingdom on Netflix to entertain myself. Around 1:37 I check my phone and I haven't heard back from rocky normally he'd call so I'm actually worried now. I grab my keys and before I make it out I remembered I'm babysitting so I go to my sons room to wake him up I turn all the lights on and shake him gently.

"Daddy!! Am I in a dream?" I shook my head no and my sons eyes light up and he looks so happy.

"Now buddy we are going on an adventure . Do you want to be like the toys from Toy Story 3?" my son start smiling and nods his head furiously.

"Daddy yes but can mommy come along." I need to convince him to keep this between us.

"Buddy this is gonna be a secret spy mission and mommy can't know about so let's put on your shoes." I help my son out of bed and put him some adidas fit  and some running shoes just in case we gotta dash.

"Daddy so I'm a spy now right so now I'm Will the super secret spy who saves the world." I pat my son on the head so his name is William not rodrick I'll make sure to remember this time. I grab my sons hand and the car keys and  house keys so I can lock the door. I buckle him into the backseat and I hear my son giggling and taking about his day but I zone him out. I start up my car and enter in the shootout address into my GPS hopefully Rocky is alright.
