Max was driving we left the toxic memory's in our town. My head was on jay shoulder max was smiling and she said "jay,Conner I think we're here" the lights looked so alive people smiling and people freely and the LGBTQ couples smiling. I said to jay "this is we're we belong". Max found a motel to stay at we found some jobs here to get a apartment. We skated in the night eating smiling. We found a tree and remembered reed and max said "he would be happy for you too let's not think about the negative shit he said just remember the laughs". We went back and slept
The next morning we walked to a coffee shop and the waitress called Lilith said welcome to the city and max was blushing and we knew max was pan but never saw her with a girl like this. I was happy we drank our ice coffee and donuts. Lilith gave max her phone number and when we got out of the shop max smiled. I missed that smile and saw jay laughing. I knew this city would be the best.
