Chapter Six - Disasterology
Skye's POV
For a while Jaime and I just lay together in a state of undress on the couch, breathing in each others scent. My cheek and hand were resting on his chest, slick with sweat. One of his arms was wrapped around my waist, his other hand rubbing circles on my back. It felt so good I could have fallen asleep. I don't know how long we'd been lying there when I heard my phone ring across the room, vibrating against the work top in the kitchen. I sighed and got up, grabbing a blanket from the back of the sofa and wrapping it around my naked body as I went. I checked the caller ID before answering, It was Sammie. Shit shit shit she must be on her way back.
I pressed the green accept button and wondered back towards Jaime,
"Heeey!"
"Hi Skye, I just thought I'd ring to let you know that we're about half way home so we'll be back in about half an hour? We stopped to pee and get a drink but we'll be on our way again shortly"
She sounded so happy and content, "That sounds great! I can't wait to hear everything!"
"I can't wait to tell you either, anyway I'd better go, Tony's coming back. I'll see you in a bit!"
"Bye!"
And with that she hung up.
I flopped down next to Jaime who was now sitting up having relocated his boxes and put them on.
"Let me guess, they're on their way home so we have to actually put some clothes on?"
"Unfortunately, yes."
He pouted, making me laugh.
"Go and find the rest of your clothes you tit, i'm gonna to shower then change, do you want one first?" I hit him playfully around the back of the head and he yelped
"OOOW! But sure okay. I'll let you find my clothes for me then"
He smiled and winked then got up and walked down the hall in the direction of the bathroom.
"Don't be long!" I called after him, "I need to shower too and we only have half an hour"
His head popped back around the corner,
"We could always shower together..."
"Yes because that's obviously going to be quicker isn't it, showering together, naked, in a heated and steamy room." I paused for a minute, "actually that sounds fabulous. Give me a minute."
I stood up, keeping the blanket firmly wrapped around me and grabbed as many of the clothes I could see from the floor with my spare hand before running along the hallway after Jaime.
An hour later we were both washed, dressed and lounging around on the couch eating toast smothered in nutella whilst flicking through the crappy daytime tv. It wasn't long before I heard a key in the door and Sammie skipped through into the living room closely followed by Tony who was holding her hand. Jaime looked at me and smirked, nodding towards their entwined hands, I gave him an over exaggerated wink and smirk then stood to greet them both.
"HEY GIRL HOW WAS IT??" I yelled enveloping her in a giant hug.
"Skye...Skye....GET THE FUCK OFF YOU'RE CRUSHING ME" she yelled through chokes for air, "It was really good though, thank you for helping Tony organise everything. You're both amazing."
She looked at us both, smiling.
I turned to Tony,
"Everything go to plan then?"
