Angels don't have a lot to do in their lives. I mean, yeah, they hunt demons, which is cool and all, but it gets old when you do it every day for 734 years. There are always ways to spice things up, ya know, maybe curse the guy who got your coffee too late. Make him wanna rush to the bathroom each time he sees a relatively attractive woman. or man.

Yeah, angels can stay on earth, it's not a big deal for them. Earth is where all the demon-hunting takes place. They save the poor little humans from the demons, yet, apparently, they can't even get taehyung's coffee on time. he wonders and wonders why he even does what he does.

He's on my way to an abandoned little cemetery. It's one of those rare occasions when a demon challenges an angel to a duel. It's usually not that big of a deal, but Namjoon Hyung had told him that this one was a threat. He told him to be careful. Which was surprising because God knows he's the best at what he does. Like literally, he knows, he even complimented him once. It was pretty cool.

He reaches soon enough. The gate is old and rusted, green vines draped over the metal. He pushes it open, slightly surprised at how it opened so soundlessly. As soon as he steps in, he knows he's in for some really creepy shit.

The ground is hard, with not a single sign of life. It's as if plants refuse to grow on this cursed land. In an instant, he realises that he is unprepared. But he refuses to let it show. He walks on, breathing in the thick air that reeked of death.

In the very middle of the cemetery, he see a figure. If this demon guy has a flair for the dramatic, then he is definitely nailing it. Fog blurs his figure out, slowly dissipating as I come closer. The first thing I notice is, well, it's a guy. A pretty guy. And I mean, the innocent-looking kinda pretty. There is nothing about him that indicates he's a demon. I assume he must be some random guy who's chilling at the cemetery.

Before I ask him what he's doing here, his head turns in a sudden motion towards me, like a wolf sensing its prey. That is when I know. His eyes aren't black. His eyes are the absence of color, an eternity of nothing.

He's a demon.

"Well, hello there.", his sweet voice cuts through the night like a dagger.

"'Sup, dude?"

"Huh?", his confused voice chimes back.

"Nothing.", I sigh. Demons need to come out and socialize more. The whole Victorian theme is getting old. "Shall we get started?"

"I would be delighted."

He takes off his coat, revealing a white sweatshirt and black sweatpants. He's hot, but he doesn't know it. His horns slowly emerge. They're longer than any I've seen in my life. The air grows chilly.

I take off my coat as well, revealing my wings. It was time for a battle.
