Lemme tell you what happens when your wings are stolen:
Scenario 1
Whichever demon takes your wings, obtains its power.
Game over.
Result: You die.
Scenario 2
You live, for some time.
Highly unlikely. If you haven't died yet, you probably will.
Unless you're a warrior angel.
Warrior angels tend to be more powerful. You'll die in a year after your wings are stolen. Well, at least, that's the longest record. No angel has ever survived for more.
Result: You die.
