It's been a week since I've awoken in this world. At first, it was so uncomfortable getting accustomed to the life here but since I'm a fast learner, I got the hang of it. In my past life, the novel that I got resurrected into is entitled 'Miraculous'. It's about the mysterious guy, who at first demonstrated his skill in solving the murder of Alicia McMillian, aka me. But actually this mysterious guy was the Second Prince of Kingdom Altheous, the kingdom I'm in right now. His name was Prince Cy Adriene Pierce vos Romelias. He never revealed his identity aside from anyone he trusted due to the fact that he plans to overthrow his half brother, The First Prince and heir to the throne, Prince Lucian Einri vos Romelias.
According to the novel, the second Prince was the son of an exotic dancer whom the King fell in love with. Even though he was a prince, he had always known that the kingdom's governance is a flaw in the system. He finds it unrighteous for the nobles to just abuse and control those underneath them and so he wished to break it. His plans were going accordingly except for falling in love with the novel's protagonist Mirajane Rothwell. Mirajane Rothwell, an illegitimate daughter of a Duke who also wished to break the Altheous' governance system,made a deal with the second prince. That is to spy on the nobles in the First Prince faction after she found out about Prince Adriene's royal seal.
The two met under unexpected circumstances yet with everything they have been through, love conquers all huh? It was truly miraculous indeed that they met each other…
So, following with the novel's plot and storylines, I've been coming up with the plans on how to break my engagement off with Jonathan, the man who personally wants me dead.
At first, pushing him off the lake and letting him drown would do the trick, but I can't risk it since the McMillian household, would be suspected for murder and that would be a total disaster.
My head is aching with all the brainstorming "All this in the name of survival." I have to cancel the engagement no matter what but both of our families agreed to this plus the Campbells control the bank of the Capital and they are a respected noble family. We can't take back the engagement without a good reason.
If I reveal that Jonathan is trying to kill me, nobody would even believe me! Damn it. I need a reason. A reason for him to get rid of me.

It was late in the afternoon when Jonathan came to visit me. Sitting on the couch in my room having tea with the dirtbag who is acting as if nothing happened, makes me wanna puke. I've got no choice but to think of this as a challenge…. Alright, here goes nothing.
