KNIGHT OF PENTACLES

Upright: Efficiency, Hard Work, Routine

Reversed: Laziness, Obsessiveness, Work Without Reward

.•°•~~~~(Name)'s POV~~~~•°•.

"Kakyoin please let go of my arm I need to go to the bathroom." And so my wrist was released by the stand.

I took the first thing I could on me, the dress that Raisa gave me, and something deep down inside of me said I had to wear the flower crown. It was the only floral decoration that didn't start to die out.

Arranging it on my head, I went ahead to the kitchen to take away the grapes. I looked in the fridge and I was lucky. A basket full of them was easily spotted.

I took them and placed my phone in there too, for that it was easier to hold.

I went to the door and I didn't find any shoes for that matter. It's quite weird, but to not wake up any of the guys, I decided to just go barefoot. After all, Moonhigh Queen can help me in case of frostbites, at least to prevent them... I hope.

I went outside, careful not to make any noise, and once my sole touched the soft grass thread, I felt the ice of my stand forming on between me and the ground, for speeding up better.

Taking my phone out of the basket, I started searching the location my "grandma" told me to look forward to.

"Aokigahara forest... Calculating the best route..." Announced the device.

Using Moonhigh Queen, I started gliding my way on ice with my bare feet.

.•°•~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~•°•.

In a surgery table laid the cold body of Raisa. Doctors were trying their best to offer the fastest lung transplant they could do that she could live. She was loosing blood with each second that passed and also was having issues  delivering the blood to the brain.

Polnareff just watched from the hallway all the passing doctors

He went outside, probably out of boredom or out of nervousness.

Taking a pack of cigarettes, he lighted it and spoke to himself:

"Was it meant to be? Or what happened? Why Ayano was dead in the first place?"

He cried softly as the smoke tinted his lungs. He hadn't smoke since he found Raisa.

.•°•~~~~~Flashback~~~~~•°•.

At one of the dates at an exclusive club, the two were still trying to take shots to see who was the strongest.

Raisa reached number 10 while Pierre was done by the 8th shot.

"Seems like I won." She said.

"Well I'm glad. Now I feel dizzy." He kissed her forehead and she was blushing. Was it from alcohol? Was it from the tequilas? She had no idea.

She bit her lower lip, as the intoxicated brain remembered all the events from the previous one night stand, while Polnareff was too focused on her clea- EYES. HE WAS FOCUSED ON HER EYES.

.•°•~~~~End of Flashback~~~~•°•.

He chuckled. As if it wasn't already obvious, he wanted to turn back time. To before she was attacked. He wanted to sacrifice himself for her. One nurse came out to him.

She took a cigarette out but noticed she had no lighter. Polnareff offered her one.

"Thank you." She replied. Taking a deep breath of the smoke, she asked him: "Pregnancy or death?"

"Death." He replied.

"The lung transplant?"

"Oui." He added. His cigarette was finished mere moments ago but he couldn't stop the anxiety. He lighted one more.

"So you must be the husband. Jean Pierre. Right?"

The French nodded.

"I'm Christine. I'm a new nurse here. Been here for almost 5 months now. And she's not the most awful case. We had a boy that had his organs transferred to after 10 HOURS since he died... He somehow survived... There must be a force out there that wanted him alive." She said, looking at the sky.

Christine looked at Polnareff that was crying softly. "She will live. Her heart didn't stop at all, and doctors even said it's quite strange that this hasn't happened."

"Indeed..."

"Probably she has more to live... Who knows... Maybe even give you children..."

Pierre looked at the girl. She finished her cigarette and said: "I know that's against medicine, but I recently switched places with a mate during the surgery because one of the psychiatric patients were going nuts and they only want me... But when I put her on the operating table, I noticed her palms..."

"You know palmistry?" He asked, but she continued her story.

"And I couldn't not take one peek at the palm. It was looking as if she had had many things in her life... But she met her soulmates twice... And she'll live a long life."

Polnareff lifted one brow and then the girl was already on her way to the hospital's entrance. "Thank you for the light. May it be in your path too..."

What happened, was beyond his knowledge. He went back again. It was going to be a long night... and it was already 3:45 am.
